Unwanted phone call to my cell #.

The person (telemarketer) got nothing better to do.  Get a life.  They keep calling my work # all day - HARASSING phone calls re The FBI states about home break-ins or if you are a home owner bla bla bla.....

CallerID says GB Marketing. Did not leave a message.

This is one of three numbers used today by "GB Marketing."  The phone that they reached is in a conference room, has enhanced caller ID, and is used almost exclusively to place outgoing calls, so I forwarded that line to our fax extension.  Enjoy the happy tone, GB Marketing.

FREE Home Security Scam, don't answer & block their number.

I received this call on my work phone, so I had to answer it. But this may help some people. If it is on you cell phone look for the block contact. On the iPhone there should be a I to the right of the phone #. Click that and at the bottom you will see block contact. Now if they use another number they will get through but block them and you will stop the calls from them. Have fun.

So what can we do? Just keep posting here or is there some agency that actually do something about it?

Got a call from them at 12:13pm today, 9/24. I didn't answer and judging by the responses on this list, it would have been a waste of time.  I added them to my auto-reject list on my phone.

Robot call to sell a security system - I believe this is a scam. If I had time, I would keep them on the line for as long as possible to tie up their system. I would love to be able to forward them to Lenny http://www.itslenny.com/ 

I got a call from 616-613-2291 today 9/24/14 - did not answer since I was unfamiliar with the number.  They called my mobile phone.   Thank you.

Had a call from 616-613-2291 about 7:20 PM EDT on my cell phone while trying to eat dinner.  Selling some kind of home alarm system or monitoring contract.  Ridiculous and who would trust this company 800+ miles away from my house that robot calls you during dinner.

Complain to the FTC. Legitimate companies do not sell this way.

Remember the "Card Services" scam a couple of years ago? The FTC took them out eventually.

we are registered with the National No Call Registry but we keep getting unsolicited calls & now they're calling our cell phones.  We just don't answer if it's from a # we don't recognize but it's irritating.

Did not answer, called two days in a row. After readif reviews will not answer as I'm sure it is scam.

Same crap as always! Call after call after call after call! This is a work phone so I HAVE to answer. I would LOVE to get my hands on the people who do this. They need to get a life and a job and leave others who are trying to live their life and do their job ALONE...........my goodness! Called with a computer recording stating that "this is not a sales call," the proceeded to try to sell what appeared to be a burglar alarm system.  Too bad you can't send back Ebola though the phone system.

Called my work number at 10:43am CST. It was a 38 second prerecorded call stating that "this is not a sales call" to sell me a burglary alarm system. Press 1 to speak with someone. Press 2 to be removed. I pressed 2 and the line hung up.
