Please stop calling from 1616-971-0229

Just received a call from this "616 971-0229 SPECIAL MESSAGE" number today at 8:48pm today. The caller hung up as soon as the phone was answered. only heard a dial tone.

Called our number at 9:45 a.m.  We didn't recognize the number so we didn't answer.  No message was left although our called ID showed Special Message and number 1-616-971-0229.  It seems it does no good to be listed on the don't call list nowdays.

I had a call at 5:23 p.m. From this number. I answered but no one said anything on the other end so I hung up.

Yea, they have called me a few times. No message, no answer

For all of you blocking numbers is a waste of time. They just use another number.

So what if they use another number? Newer call blockers & call blocking apps. can block hundreds of numbers. Sometimes thousands. Modern apps. are unlimited. Area codes can be blocked. Exceptions can be made by the use of "White lists". Unknown, invalid, restricted, private, toll-free.... The list goes on. All can be blocked or sent to VM.
Only scammers, frauds & fools consider call blockers to be a "waste of time". The rest of us know that call blocking is no longer a luxury, it's a necessity.

Telemarker with recorded message advertising Obamacare.  I tried to press "1" to talk to a representative so that I could chew them out, but it just kept repeating and I never could even fuss at anyone for calling me.

I recieved the same call. Caller ID says special message.  I did not answer and no message was left. I am on a Do Not Call List and have more calls than ever!

Caller ID said Waco.  Did not answer, but a weird male voice (kinda sounded like a garbled Donald Duck) loudly said the following:  " 254-498-9708 has sent you a text to landline message. To hear this message press 1.  254-498-9708 has sent you a text to landline message.  Sorry.  I can't talk right now.  Goodbye and thank you for using text to landline.  Be seeing you."     Strangest one I have gotten yet (and I've gotten a bunch).  Anybody else heard this one?

I answered the call as I thought I knew the number, but it turned out to be some clown saying that I had been approved for some life insurance. The caller seemed to be reading a script. Cut him off and hung-up on him.

Caller ID "Illegal Scam"    That's a first. left no message and when I called back I got a recording saying the number is not in service.

got a call from 616-971-0229.  caller id said it was from "Illegal Scam".  Who answers a call that says that? I was not hear to answer call.  They did not leave a message.
