Just got a call from this number, with a caller ID of Cooks Country, which I subscribe to, so I answered.  No one there, they hung up after I said "Hello"

This number says Cooks County, but the area code is in Massachusetts.  They called but didn't leave a message.  Spam.

Same CID as above, no message left.

Same as others. Blocked from future calls.

Same experience here.  Caller ID reads "Cook's Country".  No message left on my answering machine.  My guess this is a spoofed number.  Cook's Country would never call.  PBS just doesn't work that way.  Most likely some con artrist trying to scam people.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago.  I answered because I receive subscription from a name usinfg Cook's but somewhat different from Cook's Country.  No answer when I answered.  This call came a few minutes after 3 calls from 646-270-6709 with person claiming to be IRS.

I get a call once a day from this number 617-207-0641 and caller ID says Cook's Country. They never leave a message, so today this number is now blocked. I DO NOT even know what Cook's Country is, but by reading other post it's apparently a magazine, which I do not subscribe too.

HINT* If you're legit, call through a real phone line, not via internet.  Tacky!

They knew my first name.  When asked if I was June I made the mistake of saying yes.  They said thanks for being a valued customer.  When I told her twice that I was not a customer, she said they want to send free gift.  I had to shout to interrupt her and I said I don't want a gift and don't call again.  Blocked the number. Spam.

They call once a day, every day. Nothing on the other end. CID says "UMG"
