Again, have spent 1/2 the morning trying to track down the owner of this number who called on my  unlisted private landline which I'm going to be forced to disable. I don't give the number out but I once listed it on Facebook as a private way to reach me so that's that. Unfortunately my family and friends and doctor's have it and to disable it , tho would save me money, wil also cause major confusion for other people but with the world now having access to this line, I get 50 calls per week from unknown. For 15 years I've been unable to answer 3 phone lines because the government cannot stop these spoofed, scammed spam callers.  I pay  $25 per month in Government fees to rent a landline but they can't stop the unwanted calls. I pay govt fees to have an ISP but they can't stop the spam and scams and junk.  We pay and pay and pay but are spied on relentlessly so that the big banks and corporations can market to us relentlessly and there's nothing we can do to protect ourselves other than pay them so that we can ignor callers, then research spam and scams and spoofed calls and go thru the junk folders every day. Hours per day of wasted time is on us. It's gotten so much worse since 2017
