This number called our business today at 1015 hours.  Caller ID said "Name Unknown."  When I answered there was a familiar "bloop" which told me it was a cold-calling telemarketer.  A man asked to speak with the person in charge of our electric bill.  I asked him a few questions, trying to find out what his "game" was.  He told me that he was from FFC Energy (I believe he said) and that we "needed" an energy review. "We NEED one, huh?" Oh, yes, he assured me, every business needs one.  When I asked why he said, don't you want to save money on your electric bill? When I asked him to name his price he told me that's why he needs a fax, so he can do a comprehensive energy review, he needs a copy of our electric bill in order to do that.  I told him he wasn't getting a copy of our electric bill, goodbye.  I don't provide copies of any of our bills to solicitors.  If they want our business then they have to give us their price instead of playing their stupid names with wanting to see what we're paying with someone else.  For all I know, he might want a copy of our electric bill so he'll have our account number and such so they can find some way to tack on additional charges or pull some other kind of scam.  There are so many energy-based scams out there that I don't trust any call, especially when the phone number they call from does not come back to any specific company.

Called my cell around 10am on a Saturday I dod not answer and no voicemail was left.
