Just got a call from this number. Says "Boston." They didn't leave a message.

Just call and not message. We are located in Boston but not recognize this number among our people
.. It's the second time this week

Just called the number back and it said Thank you for calling the Cancer fund of America

just got a call from this number, find it annoying ,going to report this nonsense.

This number has called my home , cell and skype numbers...enough already. I live in Maine only my skype is a massachusetts number. Also got Cancer fund of America when calling back. It does offer a do not call list option when you call it.Just press one and you are on their do not call.

Just got another call. Have received numerous calls-some leave message on answer machine.
" Hello William? " Then hangup. Caller I.D. says Boston.

Just got a call from this number.   Trying to raise money for those that feed people suffering from cancer and it's side effects.   Nice woman, but wouldn't take "no" for an answer..tried to pull the guilt trick on me!

I think the money is to feed telemarketers suffering from chronic rejection.

Just got a call from this number as well and as a previous poster pointed out you can call it back and simply select "1" to have your number removed.

Thanks Ren for the info about our ability to have our numbers removed  the Cancer Fund of America's call list. Everyone can make choices about which charities to support and should not be bothered with endless solicitations. Just call the number back and select the option"1" to be removed from their calling list.

You're one of the scumbag telemarketers and this post is one of your tricks.

The creeps want you to call them back to ask to get removed from their list, because getting your ear is step #1 in scamming you. Once they get your ear, these professional con artists can rope in a large percentage of the population.

Don't answer the phone for them. Don't speak to them.

Everyone should not only have a choice about what charities to give to but also to not be bothered in the privacy of their own homes. Write to your Congressman and US Senators to have the charity exemption removed from the Do-Not-Call List law.

Don't believe SL. He works for the telemarketers. Talk to them and they'll try to rope you in. That's one of their tricks.

Mark apparently is brain-damaged. There is no talking to anyone and no trying to rope you in if you call the number back.  A recorded voice answers and instructs you to press 1 to be removed from their calling list.  Press 1 and a recorded voice says thank you, this number will be removed from our calling list. At that point you can hang up.  I don't know what Mark is talking about but it seems he lacks the mental capacity to dial a number, press 1, and hang up.

They also call from: 617-245-9641 and 617-245-9695. Probably others as well...
Block them all.

They called, the answering machine picked up, and they hung up.

Cancer fund of America is a scum bag outfit that takes in a LOT of money and pays out VERY LITTLE of what they get and if you Google them you will see they are and have been sued by numerous states over this fraud.

Ahh, for those so quick to put Mark Down, how many of you have called back and selected "1" to have you number removed?  It worked well, didn't it?  Of course not.......as Mark said, it's a scam.  In actuallity, the number of calls I've received after pressing "1" did not change, plus I started receiving more annoying calls from oter scammers; not sure there's any corelation, but requesting to be removed did not work.

If you give to this org, send me your number so I can call you from the Beer Fund of America.  And I'll put in a dime for a cause.  It will do as much good as this scam.  And btw, pressing one doesn't work.

I have gotten no less than 30 calls from these scammers. I did call and opt out by pressing 1, but they kept calling back anyways.  I went to their boilerroom operation in S. Boston, and made quite a scene, and scared the [***] out of them. They called the cops on me, and The cops told me to leave... upon leaving , I told them , that if they called me one more time, that I would [***] up their [***].. its been 3 months... They havnt called me once.....Thats what it takes, folks !!
