Mitch is probably one of the scam artists trying to mislead people.

It is verizon. Verizon is a phone company. It is THE phone company. They can call you from your phone number if they want. It is a computer telling you you are late on your bill. They will shut off you service when you are 30 days late on your or less on paying. Not 90 days.

It's Verizon Wireless.  My call was immediately followed by a text reminding me to pay my overdue bill.  I paid.  Thanks Verizon.

I as well keep getting calls from them.   They are saying my dibs phone is about to be shut off if I don't pay it and my son is deployed out of the country right now.  I cannot let his phone get shut off.

I JUST got off the chat with VZ. They absolutely confirm that 617-279-2393 is NOT a verizon number and that the robo call is a scam. They say that IF you get a call vs an email or text reminder, it would be if your account was 10 plus days overdue.

this caller calls my work--& does not leave a message.  it is intrusive, rude, & unacceptable.

Never had a Verizon account in my life.  Only carrier I have ever had is T-Mobile, a they are on an automatic pay schedule from my bank.  I got this phoney message from Verizon about a change in my account status and that I needed to call them right way.   That number is now blocked on my Samsung phone that has T-Mobile.
