Called my business cellphone, but left no message.

Didn't answer, no message. I know people in the greater Boston area so not sure whether to block. Will check this site again in the event anyone can give info, thanks.

Are you a student. Has a teacher recently asked for your cell number?

Said they were from ConEdison Electric Company. (I've never been a subscriber.) Said my electric bill would be going down, and wanted to verify my account info. When I told them I was not a customer, they wanted my zip code to "update their records" so as to no longer call.

Thanks, now I can block. 👌🏻

The never ending annoyance of the electric service change telemarketing scam calls continues with the addition of another new spoofed number or burner phone.  This number will, 617-315-1882, will be added to the list of:  815-517-9267, 888-904-5361, 815-390-0015, 773-364-4191, 847-315-9264, 847-315-9265, 815-516-0982, 224-250-9923, 732-963-0059, 847-495-0929, 872-484-1889, 847-388-5568, 618-408-0009, 872-666-8135, 708-858-4096, 773-596-1488, 773-280-7920.

Left no msg so scam call of some sort

Call received on cell phone.  Unknown number to me.  No message left.

Called 2 times in a row. No message left. I don't pick up # that are not in my contacts.

Cold call to get me to switch energy providers.  So much for the do not call list!!

when I answered woman said she was calling to discuss my Duke Energy bill.   I told her it was illegal to call my cell and hung up.  scam

Called my work number saying they could offer me a 20% discount on my electric bill. Clearly a scam as this particular number is not associated with any electric accounts.

Total scam. Called my cell phone to say that Eversource was offering "discounts" to "long-time customers."  Said I wasn't interested and didn't like phone solicitations. Hang up. Brat CALLS ME AGAIN to say that he is simply offering a discount, that he has a contract with power providers. I ask him what my provider is and HE DOESN'T KNOW.  That's when I finally told him to f--k off.

Called three times on same day.  On second call a female started talking but I could not hear what she was saying. The other two calls, when I answered there was no response.  I called the number back and got busy signal.  Eventually the operator came on and said my call could not be completed.  Suspect this is a scammer.

Told this gal Stacy that I wasnt interested and hung up. She called right back within seconds of me hanging up and started her speil I said if this is legit have the company send me something I will look it over. She started healing at me. I said do your going to yell at me? And she said YES. Called electric company it is not legit.

An electric bill SCAM!!! Jerks are hunting for your personal information. Just block them.

I answered just so they would stop calling me.Did the whole save you money speech and "they sent me a notice". Jokes on them...I have no electric/gas bill in my name. Nor would I have listed my cell phone for the bill.

Must be a big profit in selling people on buying electricity outside of their traditional electricity provider. Because I swear their must be a half dozen of these companies nagging me. I save pennies and they make millions I suspect.
