This number as a BU number and I suspect they were asking for money from alums. I graduated over 50 years ago from BU.  No message left.  Thanks, but not thanks.

also BU alumn, didn't give cell number. Not sure why called. Only says telefund

both my kids went to BU and they constantly call for funds.
My kids got nothing in the way of special treatment - I paid the entire freight.
Not about to hand them any more cash

I am a BU student and this number called me and left a minute and a half message that consisted of heavy breathing and what sounded like slow whispered counting and static. It was very creepy.

They have called twice but haven't left a message. Caller ID said "Boston University"; phone number look-up online says BU Telefund. I have no affiliation with BU, so I have no idea how they got my number. I didn't answer, obviously.

It does not violate US telemarketing laws and isn't even a telemarketing call.
