someone called and tried to get me to give my name, which i never do, if they are calling me they should know my name, right? she called me cindy, i told her she had the wrong number and she asked, "why do you have access to my mothers account and have been taking money out?". None of which remotely makes any sense to me. I said "I don't know what you're talking about." She said, "Oh, you don't huh?" and hung up. Not sure if this is some type of scam or just a wrong number.

I just saw this same number on my caller id (they called when I was out today), and tried looking it up on google to see who it was.  I stumbled upon this page.  So you're not the only one getting mystery calls from this number.

Yeah, it is Metro Credit Union (which also serves former customers of Massachusetts State Employees Credit Union). They call from this number because you're delinquent in loans (mortgage, auto, school, or credit cards issued directly from them) and that they are trying to get you to pay up right away. But sometimes, it starts getting annoying for a bit......
