This number called me two days in a row, the first day saying that my social security number is under investigation, the second saying they are sueing me representing someone I owe money to, complete scam.

Even if you did owe them, and you probably don't, it's not a criminal offense to owe money, and you don't get arrested.  A lawsuit would be civil, and you don't get arrested.  There is no such thing as debtors prison, and you don't get arrested.  And, if you have done something REALLY BAD and were to be arrested, they wouldn't call you first.  These people are crooks.  Don't let 'em scare you.

SSNs don't get "investigated."  You know, I don't know which is worse...the calls themselves, or the insult to people's intelligence that they're launching.  What a bunch of tools.

Same as always asking for a name that doesnt exsist at my number and says that my phone has been associated with illegal activities over the internet.  They claim they are from a law firm.  Funny they hang up on me and when I call them back they ingore my calls and hang up.  I wanted to let them know not to call me again.

I received a phone call from an indian man this morning and automatically knew something was not right. I could not understand a word he was saying and he kept asking for my attorney. Its obvious that they try and use scare tactics by telling you your personal information and asking for an attorney. Dont be fooled. Yes, it is scary that they know your personal information. However, they cannot access money without your consent and that is why they call non stop. Someone needs to stop these people from scamming.
