    Had the same thing happen but from the following number: 551-137-115710

    AND got a text message about 3 weeks later from them as well with the 617-532-0663 number.  

    Beware the scam!

    I got the same MMS this evening, and I don't think there is any such institution as Mass Bay Credit Union.   A Google search finds only bogus looking pages, including one that does nothing more than give you very detailed instructions on how to turn off security in your browser (so that you can download a virus from them)!

    Received the same text message on my cell yesterday (2/3/10).  I have an account with Liberty Bay CU, so I originally thought it was a message from that bank but apparently there's no such institution as Mass. Bay CU.

    I called Mass Bay Credit Union and they confirmed this is a phishing scam.
    Beware of the other telephone numbers the scammer's are using....

    Just got a text from MASS BAY.  617-963-1095 is the call back number.  Maybe I should call them just to bust their b@lls.
