Rings once and hangs up. Def spam--blocked number

Called twice, no voicemail. Phone said the number is from Boston, MA.

Received a call from 617-861-6208 at 3:10pm. No message left.

It rings 1 second. No one answered it .

Just another phishing scam.  Why don’t these clowns grow a soul and get a real job?

Got a call from this number today. Didn't answer. Google it and this website is disclosing it as spamming. Good enough for me. Blocking.

why would anyone want to waste their time answering, replying, listening to the message, etc is beyond me.If someone legit is calling me without me having their name on my phone, they can leave a message and I will call them back. easiest and safest thing to do, when will they learn, dont give them anything to go on with your number

Unknown caller rang, hung up before I answered and then called again in a short amount of time. Spammers. It's ridiculous.

Another scammer calling on a holiday.  When, oh when will these bottom feeders give up?  They don't leave messages, just let the phone ring until it sounds like voicemail might pick-up.  Do they really believe this is clever?  And that we will answer the phone?

Called twice, I wasn't around to pick up the phone. Didn't leave a message. Boston number, I'm in Ann Arbor and don't know anyone in Boston.

Just got 2 rings and hang up. At 0900 in the morning I would not be inclined to be polite so they should be happy I don't pick up calls from folks I don't know.

Blah blah blah.   Another no message scam call by an embarrassment to society.  Tsk tsk.

Unbelievable, but someone must be picking up and buying.  If it didn't work, telemarketers would disappear in a day.  But it must be working.  And well enough that these slimeballs keep on doing what they are doing.  Maybe their success rate is only 1%, whatever it is, but it is good enough for them.  Unfortunately, 99% inconvenienced, pissed off, etc.

It is only getting worse and worse every year.

A universal problem for everyone, no matter what political affiliation.  Left, right, center, none - we all get hit.  I wish for strong legislation this time without any exclusions.  Existing laws obviously is toothless and does not work.  We have a right to pursue happiness, and this is a stain on it.  smh

Technology is available AND in use that will allow them to collect cellular phone numbers in the vicinity of your ringing phone.  I, for one, think it is time to squash these bugs once and for all.

Well then you should be able to give us the name or names of this technology.  Barring that you tinfoil hat isn't working.
