- CC| 4 repliesI received a text from "CREDIT COLLECTION SERVICES" regarding LABCORP. It says to call 617-882-2500 or do a self-service at www.ccsnotice.com. Reference File #08024228887.

- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to CC| 2 repliesThat website has been up since 2008 and does belong to that debt collector so I'm not seeing what your problem is. No laws have been broken so far simply based on your post.
- Kathryn ThompsonSaid it was Labcorp and I owed money. I called LabCorp and they did not have an unpaid invoice for me. Labcorp in Tulsa, Oklahoma has two different billing so I called the second one from the number LabCorp gave me. After 15 minutes on hold I left voice message for a call back they never called back. Concerned it is a scam since I have two insurance companies. If not a scam then incompetence unprofessional personnel in Lab Corp billing dept because I have given them my insurance information on more than one occasion and they told me to ignore the bill because the insurance companies would take 30 days to pay and I never received another bill.
- Caller: Debt collection.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- DaniKept receiving texts that I owe, finally went to settle a $500 for $300; they took the funds and Labcorp is still saying that I owe $200+. Def some sort of scam.

- Aj jean replies to BigA| 1 replyIT'S A SCAM
- Nimrod replies to Aj jeanRather than just yelling "IT'S A SCAM", why did you not post the evidence you have to back that statement up?
Everything that BigA stated is true.
Credit Collection Services (CCS) is a legitimate, large-scale debt collection agency founded in 1966 and based in Norwood, Massachusetts. The two links posted by "CC" and "Tom" each redirect to a page at "ccsusa.com", a domain that was registered in 1996 (which makes it far older than what any scam sites ever reach) and is not up for renewal until 2030 (far longer than a scam site would pay for).
Now, it is possible that they may have sent the texts reported here to the wrong people, as errors do occur. Phone numbers may have been entered wrong, the debtor may have changed numbers and the one on file has been reassigned to another subscriber or the person receiving the text shares their name with the debtor being sought and this debt collector is doing a "skip trace". Making an error does not mean they are committing a scam.
