I had a message on my machine from this number earlier this week.  The caller identified himself as "John."  617 is a Massachusetts area code, but John was definitely a Southerner.  John claimed that he had gotten my name & phone # from a "qualified leads list" that indicated I was  interested in earning huge amounts of cash on the side (I did no such thing, thus I shouldn't have been on such a list).  He also gave his website, which is www.johnscashbox.com.  It's a real website featuring a video promoting "Financial Freedom", which is likely a get rich quick deal of some sort.  A company name of ECS Consulting does appear on screen in the video.
