I thought the number needs to be in your address book for a caller ID to come through on your cell phone?

Got a text, no caller ID but message was pretty clear - said if I was still interested in finding a job to visit their website. Probably got my resume off of Monster.

Caller IDs are in the number programming. If it doesn't come up it's because there is none.

Cell phones are different than regular phones. They want to limit the amount of data sent to keep costs down so they don't send the caller ID info. The number has to be in your address book to come up in caller ID.

I didn't get anything in Caller ID, but the text did say it was from Anna.

I got the text too! I've applied for so many jobs lately so I can work after graduation it could be about a hundred jobs.

I thought you pay extra to get caller ID on the phone. Maybe if you don't pay for it you don't get it.

I'm almost positive that a cell phone doesn't have caller IDs. The number has to be in your phone.

When I put hubby for the name of my boyfriend in my phone, when he texts it says hubby. So it's in the phone not the text..

I got the text and went to their website. It's a job matching service that interviews you really quickly to see what kind of job you're looking for and then sends you jobs in your area that you can go apply for.

Here's what happened when I went to their site. I filled out a few pages of information and was given a phone number to call. When they answered, the guy confirmed the information I typed in was correct and then asked me some questions about the types of jobs I wanted. Then he said they'd start sending me updates with jobs in my area that meet those requirements. I was given the option of how often I wanted those updates and i said daily. When I got the jobs a few I'd knew already, and a few I didn't. I followed the link and applied for them. Does that answer all the questions?
