multiple calls from this number - did not answer.  no message left.  3 times today so far

Losers called twice in a hour at 4:28pm and 5:20pm showing up as telemarketer and as usual no message was left concerning their scam.

Received call that left no message.  Googled and saw posts on 800notes.  Blocked number, then muted mic, and called back.  Message states phone number is “NOT IN SERVICE”.  How can that be when the scammer / spammer called using this ID?  Spoofing.

The first time I figured out the scammers / spammers were spoofing is when they called using my phone number ID.  They must have either an antique or unsophisticated phone auto-dialer to have it call the same number it is spoofing

Anyway, the number of phone calls received from phone numbers “not in service” is so significant that it appears to be NOT coincidental.  It appears someone must be tracking “not in service” phone numbers and probably selling them for spoofing.

So here is the logic scammers / spammers: if you are spoofing, you most likely are doing something illegal.  Otherwise why would you spoof?

This number displayed as Alpine, California.  I did not answer.

I answered the phone "Hello?" Caller only responded "This is Michelle." I inquired as to who she was calling for because I did not recognize the number. Caller did not identify who she was calling for. Caller only stated "I'm calling about the vacation trip prize you entered for." I said "I don't remember doing that." Caller said, "You must have done it a long time ago." I said "Oh, ok. Well, no thank you, I'm not interested." Caller snapped, "What are you not interested in? I'm not trying to sell you anything." I stated, "I'm not interested in a vacation trip from anyone." Caller hung up on me.

Spam phone call from someone posing as Southwest Airlines saying I won a free vacation.

Spoofer - block this one.
