they knew my name and would not say who they were until I verified my social security number and date of birth.  What they had was not accurate and I gave them nothing.  Hung up.

Several calls from this. I never answer because I do not know anyone with this area code even though they can use any area code they want. However if it were a legit call they would leave you a number.
