Phoned, left no message, called the number back and received a recording saying that the # was not in use.

Called and left no message, tried to call back and was told the number was not in service, was called again with a beep as an answer, then received calls from an "unknown" number doing the same thing.  This was all within five minutes!

We are a Caterpillar dealer in Florida. I was sent a fax requesting parts pricing and availability from this number. The sender of the fax, Daniel Lewton, called me back from telephone number 310-889-0533. I believe this is a parts scam. The original fax page says "this fax was sent via the internet using Fax.com", so I believe the sender may be trying to hide his identity and/or actual location.

Whoever this is called my house 5 or 6 times in 10 minutes and each time it was just a beep.  Very annoying!!!

calls from this number to my fax number yesterday and last eve were not received in my fax as it was turned off.   very annoying.

That number is the number that RapidFax.com uses to send an email out. I know this because I have that service. It is not necessarily a scam. It is someone using RapidFax.

Received two calls from 619-330-1897 within five mins on my cell phone. It was just a beep.

It has been happening to my phone for three days, called ATT twice, they said at first it was blocked, then after several more calls from that number and 330-189(8), and they wanted to charge me 5 bucks a month to block it.
I will be calling 888.382.1222 at the FTC to get this blocked....

Is there any way to stop this. I get 3 to 4 time a day back to back early in the morining.

Just started gettting this same number that everyone is talking about...same results too. Hopefully it stops soon.

Even I receiving this calls one from 330189(7) and 330189(8) on my office phone, if I dont lift, its going to voice message. Every time I think its an important message, it turns out be a dam juck message. Any one happen to lift the call and talk about, that this mess. How to get read off.

I recieved calls from this number and the number ending in an (8) several times. My phone is a federal number and I will not stand for having prank calls. I phoned Daniel Lewton according to
"Donna" :
"The sender of the fax, Daniel Lewton, called me back from telephone number 310-889-0533. I believe this is a parts scam."
I suggest everyone call this number for a change.

This morning I got a call, no message, from this number.

I got two calls back-to-back at 5:40 a.m. from this number and 330-1898--only beeps.  This is especially annoying because I have elderly parents in that area code and thought it might be an emergency.  A scam?

received several calls from this number with a fax tone at 5:45 am.  When you try to call the nunber back says it is not operable.

For the past month or so we have received repeat calls from this # at around 6:30 A.M. Happens a few times a week. Phone company couldn't help. Has anyone figured out how to stop this? I tried faxing a letter back to the # but it came up disconnected.
