I continue to receive calls from this number - a lady with broken acsent says I owe money from a previous loan and that there are charges pending. They want the issue resolved prior to a court date. She also indicated my old email address I have not used for 3 years?  I told them to send me a letter - she said we have been trying to contact you via email, etc.  I think this is a scam. No name of a company, they just say calling from Legal restitution division or department.

Hi--just got the same call this morning--broken english legal restitution dept etc called information and they have no such phone number listed--terrible static on the line--definitely a scam--I blocked the number on my phone so they cannot harass me any longer----

I recieved my first phone call from this number 1-619-342-0288 earlier today. I also believe this is a scam. The scarry thing is that the person calling had the account number of a checking account I closed back in 2005 and had the last four numbers of my SS#. Yikes! Somehow, it seems like this company has gotten a hold of some old credit profile information that it is using to place these fraud calls to people. At least in my case, the information they had seemed to be mostly out-dated. But, Be Careful!!!

They have been harassing me too..calling about a loan taken in 2006 that was supposedly never paid back. They were unable to give me the phone number to the bank that disbursed the loan. They had my account number and ssn also.  What can we do about this?

I just started getting these calls also.  I cannot really understand what they are saying, but they are telling me in my messages that I need to contact them as they have a court date for me!  What has everyone else been doing?  I tried to call the company back at the number they provide but no one has answered the phone.  Sounds a bit sketchy to me.

These people have been calling my work... I called them back they said I had recieved a loan and it was deposited into my Metabank debit which is not a checking account. Metabank is not related to checking accounts. Loan Agencys will only make deposits to checking accounts. Metabank is not an official bank they only hold the funds I deposit on my card. I was able to uncover this in a conversation with the person. The loan info they had was several years old It is definatly some type of scam I am reporting it to LAPD. I also serched the number and it came up as a number out of Sandiego CA. Who ever got our information is going to sorry they did.

no its not a fake phone call.its a recovery call for all ur pending due.i had also gotta call 4om the same no. n i hav paid my obligations.

Bogus illiterate post from the scammer. It's a real phone call from FAKE collectors. The only "obligation" you have is to go to frikkin' JAIL.
