Received a call from 619-801-8147; name on caller id Lissa.  Don't know anyone from this area code.  Did not answer and will not answer.

Called ID was "California call"  no one was one the phone.  I pressed 1 to try and get a response no answer then a loud busy signal.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Tried calling back twice now & I just get a busy signal.

call was on office phone. I pressed 1 a female answered, I ask what credit card company they were with, She hung up. tried to call back, busy signal.

Received a call from this number last night--- the call started with an automated message about consolidating credit card debt.  I hate these things, so I took the call--- asked the woman all sorts of questions (like who would be dumb enough to give them CC info over the phone, etc.) and she hung up on me.

I thought automatic phone dialers were illegal?  Worst bit is they called my cell phone, so I only have the number--- not that company name--- and the woman who answered wouldn't give the company name--- if you can believe that.  The whole thing reeks of fraud.

Received a call from this number, no caller id, the prerecorded message said that this was their final notice to me to reduce my credit card debt now! I pressed # 3 to have my office number removed from their list and was disconnected.

Got this call on the Sept 19th.  I called it back at 8:45PM Alaska time and got a message that said "we are sorry we called your number in error".  This number is for business purchases and if you wish to have this number removed from this list press "1".  I did then got an instant busy signal.  Without a doubt, a telemarketer. Wish these people would get real jobs!

Very rude saleman that said he is charging our card against our will. He read the last four numbers of some card of ours. Very strange. He hung up on my husband. Beware of any calls from this number!

Its a marketing scam..of some sort.
If you try calling the number back there is not an option to talk to someone, just an option to opt of the calling list.

I missed the first call and an hour later the number called back so I answered it.

IT IS COMPLETE B.S. IN MY OPINION

Context:  A few months back I signed up for a free sample of a tooth whitening product. There was a shipping charge so I gave the company a card number to cover the cost.

TODAY: THE 619-801-8147 PHONE CALL: They will reference the last 4 digits of one of your credit card numbers (The only way they had this info was from the tooth whitening product purchase from months back). The guy on the phone was a Hispanic sounding gentleman by the name of "Dain Smitt" I wasn't buying it.

He said "based on your good standing you have earned "X" reward". Mine was a 120 dollar gas voucher. A Red flag immediately went up.

I asked questions and the guy on the other end of the call mention a stack of paperwork that comes with the voucher but that you do not have to sign up...blah blah blah. He really didn't want to talk about it and only wanted my address.

THE PHONE CALL THAT I RECIEVED WAS MADE TO CONFIRM MY CURRENT ADDRESS so that I COULD GET my "reward". I would not confirm a thing and they had the address wrong. I ask the "rep" what his phone number was and then I asked him to repeat it, and he rattled of two completely different numbers! Neither number was close to one another.

I started asking the guy on the phone questions, origins of his information, I asked for his supervisor, and he keep saying the same lines over and over, and then he told me I was wasting HIS TIME and hung up on me.

Long story short....I had to cancel the card number that he referenced a few months ago b/c of the free tooth whiting sample incident. The whiting company tried to auto charge me monthly for a full service when I only wanted to try a free sample. I caught the charge the first time it posted.

Now out of the blue the card is coming back to life?! Its total B.S. don't by into it.

This number has called my cell over 11 times today.  Some man keeps saying my name and calls me back even when I say to stop calling.  Fruit loops. Gonna block the # now.

every day fot many time at day someone call my cell phone.  this some fraude becose say  me win some gif.

They keep calling. I did not pick up, once I call back it routes me to try to 'follow' a menu to take my number off the list---I smell a scam--can we report them so they find some real work?

numerous calls, no messages, now hopefully removed from their calling list.  As we are ex-directory, how do they get our number?

I received the same type of call...$120 gas card + gift card to target. Except the number that appeared on my caller id was 562-2238826. The telemarketer was a male with a heavy accent (possibly indian).  He was very rude and any time I questioned where he was calling, he became would become more upset and cut me off.  He read off the last four digits of my card and wanted to verify my address.  I hung up and called back...the recording just says, "thank you for calling back. If you do not wish to receive phone call from this number press X...thank you...goodbye."  The message didn't even have a company name. WHAT A SCAM!

same here! they are really freeky, they say they are from "global rewards" but i think its a scam, someone said that they already charged them $80 just cause they said "yes"

I got one of these calls last night at 6:28pm from 978 570 2075.  They called my cell phone.  They had my name, address, and the last 4 digits of a credit card. It's very alarming.

They call me from a 603-214-3348 saying the same BS

The first time these people called, it was an indian sounding man and I actually gave him a lot of info, even though red flags were sounding in my mind because this wasn't my bank calling, wanting to talk to me about my bank card ending in XXXX.  After he got my info, he said I need to be forwarded on to his supervisor before I could receive the "gift", the supervisor sounded American and spoke English well, but he asked me the same identical questions as the man prior.  At this point I just hung up.
Some days they don't call, some days they call between 2 and 11 times.  
Today I demanded for the caller to provide me their address, she spoke very poor english and it was really hard to understand but what I got was: Global Rewards, 2963 Fall Creek Blvd., Clear Water (Tampa), FL
and my caller ID shows 619-801-8147.
Next time they call I might tell them I closed that card ending in XXXX, but I still want the gift card... I intend to give them their own phone # and address in place of mine.

they are really very freaky. they said i had won a gas rebate for 100 bucks and i told them i wasnt interested. they keep bugging me and they can call up to i5 times in a day. it is obviously a scam. just dont pick up when they call hopefully they will get the message. they r really frustrating
