didnt answer its a fraud

Said it was a public service announcement telling all Americans to turn down their thermostats for 2 hours each day. Weird because this a Canadian phone number. Called back and number is busy.

this is telemarketing for auto renewal protection.
when you press #2 as instructed to be removed from list- line goes dead.
when you press #1 to speak with representative to be placed on DO NOT CALL
 list, they hang up.

Does anyone know how to file complaint as it is annoying at work number.?
Does anyone know how to stop the harrassment ?

calls me and then wont say anything then when I try to call back I get a busy signal.

it was a recorded mesage about turning down the thermostat i called back and was given the option to be removed from the list

I had this as a missed call and since my husband used to live in San Diego with this area code, we thought it may be his brother or my sister-in-law, or maybe even one of his friends.  I tried to call back several times, and so did he, but it said all circuits were busy or I got a busy signal.

Now that I know it's just crap, I'm kind of irritated that we wasted so many calls on our cell phones trying to call back.

P.S.  My phone (an iphone) automatically tells the area that a call is from and listed this as the San Diego area, not as Canada as some people have posted before me.

When I called a man answred. He said, "I would put you you in contact with teh manager" I was on hold for about seven minutes therefore I decided to hung up. There is something wrong with that place, if that is "place".
