I did today. 2 sec VM. When I attempted to call back, 1 ring and then "Goodbye".

This number calls numerous times a day, no vm, when I try to call the number back, no answer!

Foreign voice wanting to giving home improvement loan and before that was a car warranty. Probably a masked number.

Called several times, then put me on hold for an important message. I hung up.

Called twice so far today and did not leave message.

This number calls numerous times a day, doesn't leave a voice message. Tired of receiving this call from "Otis, Jimmy"!!!!

Same old crap Jimmy Otis, probably from India!!!!!!

Called, said something I could not understand, told the foreign voiced woman she had the wrong number, and then very clearly said, "thank you, goodbye"...

Received a call but no message was left.  Receive these types of calls all the time.

Someone named Lela called from this number.

Got a call on Wed 8-16-17. I don't answer numbers I don't recogmize, so didn't answer. No message left. Caller ID showed V81614111300006 where name should be.  Got a call a few minutes later from 631-326-9624 with same long number shown where name belongs.

Home improvement scam

Won't say who they are. Just starts trying to get personal information for a home loan. Tired of being called all hours of the day and night. They've called as late as 10:15 pm

This call was not necessarily a scam but it was a company who represents several other companies looking for work, such as remodeling. My call was specifically about replacing the windows in my home. I accepted the call and spoke to the gentleman and he already had all my info. (which was probably because I filled out something through Lowe's for prices) They wanted to give me a free estimate to replace windows, but wanted to to allow four differnt contractors to contact me, that's when I declined,  that's what this partiular number called about.

@ Luke G: Everything you described are the tactics of scammers who wants to steal whatever they can. Yes, they have some personal information harvested from various public information websites. Don't let that fool you. Please read the other reports here.
Some other clues are that they call repeatedly but never leave a voicemail, they mask their number so that a false "call from" number shows up on Caller ID, if you return the call you get a "non-working number" message, if you answer the first voice you hear is usually a robot voice telling you this is your last chance and they've been trying to reach you and/or please hold for an important call, the next voice is a person with a foreign accent, they make unsolicited calls to cell phones (which is illegal), and they call numbers on the National Do Not Call list (also illegal). Yes it's illegal, but when have thieves ever worried about that?
The worst part is that as soon as you say "Hello" you've confirmed for their computer that it reached a working number with a live human. That means their call frequency goes from occasional to daily, often multiple times a day, from a variety of masked phone numbers. The only way to slow them down is to use voicemail to screen all calls from numbers you don't recognize.
