Portfolio Recovery- Bill Collector for Capital One

Well if they're a collection agency for Capital One they definitely have the wrong number.  We don't have or owe any credit cards

No one wants to see your advertising, you big dummy.

If it's Capital One, I have an account that is in good standing. Sounds like a scam.

Called. Left no message. If Portfolio Recovery, the constantly harass and call my number and not leaving a message. They spoof different numbers and area codes. If they are doing this for Capital One, I don't have their card. This is the first time I have heard them being affiliated with Capital One. If that is the case, Capital One should be aware of this so they can dis-associated themselves from a disreputable company like Portfolio Recovery.

I have a feeling they may have a list of old accounts that have already been WRITTEN OFF by Capital One.  I Just got a new Cap. One card, but I had one many years ago when I was married to someone who put everything in my name and made himself the signer on the account, and then proceeded to get us into hock repeatedly.  <_<

I have called from this # 620 860 1396 never left message call me every 30 minutes stop to harrasmetn

I got a call from # 620-860-1396 and they left a message saying this was their second attempt for me to appear for the Federal Judge. They never said my name on the message.  HAHAHAHA, they do have clever tactics to get you to call them back.  Which I'm not since my name was never mention in the message. Plus it was a recording. I'm sorry I don't live in Kansas and we have our own judges in Alabama. So good luck to whom ever they are trying to scam money out of.

stop herassment phone calls

Called my husband's cell asking for me. Caller said she was "Beverley w/ Hutchinson Canvas" When my husband asked what the call was regarding, she hung up.  Never heard of Hutchinson Canvas and don't see them on google.  Also, never had a Capital One card.

They called me about a Sears account from 1998 that is over 18 years old... I thought it was removed after 10

This could very well be a bottom feeding collector who purchased the old debt for a few cents.  Demand WRITTEN proof if the ""debt"" that is MAILED to you (nothing else is acceptable).  They then have 5 days to comply per the FDCPA - but do not expect anything except illegal threats..

They are a debt collector agency and very unprofessional and unfriendly. They said I have an outstanding bill. I said fine if you think so send or fax me the documents and they started screaming and demanding my cc number. I said I don't do any business over phone if they are what they say they should have my adresse and can send it to me. Since then I'm getting calls from all kinds of different numbers with no message on voicemail. They are unprofessional and totally insane.

They have many numbers from Alabama Texas Kansas. Said I had an open bill. I responded from whom they said you know from who. We sent you mail. I never received anything....  after that they asked for my adress???? Ya right!!!! They are rude, demanding imidient payments!!! CC Number over phone for a debt they don't wanna say???? They never leave messages on voicemail. Unprofessional and bad language.
