called, flashed over, no answer. Called the number, background sounded like a cell phone - scratchy -  then hollow-sounding pre-recorded message says, "You call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial again. 058P." That message will repeat as long as you remain connected.

WHAT CAN BE DONE TO STOP THESE KINDS OF CALLS?!

This number called for a woman.  Foreign Accent Male stated upon questioning that he was with "Credit Smart Services".  The caller ID said Pheonix,AZ but no company name.  He kept asking if our number was a business phone.  Yahoo search did not show anything for the company name and city or the ac + ph no .

Foreign Male called...asked if he reached my number. This was at 9:15pm EST, which right there was against the law....law states no called after 9pm. He said he was with card services. I told him I wanted a supervisor, he came back to phone, with a different name. I told him i wanted a manager, then he hung up!

Asked for me by name, had a full echo in the phone, everything I said was repeated like an echo- foreign male said he was from America Smart Choice?  Very weird- hung up

Foreign Male called today saying they was America Smart Choice and that I was approved for 5000 credit line for online shopping. I need to give my birth date and last 4 of SSN. I gave a fake number and dob and he said great that I was appoved for my credit line. I ask the guy for manager becaues this was a scam, he said oh no this is not scam I have your SSN to prove that. I told him I wanted to speak to Manager becaues I was on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and I was recording the call. People in background start telling him to hang it up.

Received call saying that he was from American Smart Services that my number was chosen to receive up a package with up to to $1,000 in coupons and medical insurance services. I told him that I wasn't interested and asked him to take my name off the list.

Received a call from a foreign male who said he was with America Smart Choice. He asked for my name immediately. I hung up on him. I wonder if this is connected with the recent Certegy security breach?

I recived a call at 8:00pm est from a foriegn lady who said she was from a debt consolidation company. She asked me my name and address and I gave it to her. She then hung up on me. I tried to call the number back and it would not go through. Not sure if giving out that small amount of info has endangered my idenity. And Info on this would be great! Please post.

Received a call at 11:00 AM CST from a foreign male, said that your accounts are being "settled" in 10 minutes, and that he DOESN'T need any personal info.

He called up asking for personal infos saying he wants to remove our debt. Wgen I asked him about his details started abusing us. How to catch this company and prosecute him, Any ideas?

Received a call on my office phone at 3:09 PM CST.  Caller immediately hung up.  Searched anywho for the number and it didn't come up.  I did a search on the Internet and this number came up.  I had previously missed 2 calls from this number.  Yesterday at 1:16 PM CST and 1:20 PM CST.

called my cell but didn't leave a message.  Call them back and the call fails everytime.

They called me at 5:50 pm CT, asking me if I wanted to go back to school online.  Naturally, I had none of it.

On my caller ID, the number was displayed as follows:

Yes...it is me again.  The same number called back this morning at 8:48 AM CST.  They stated they were calling about online education.  I told them I knew they were a scam and that the call was being recorded.  They then said, no we picked your name for online education.  I told them to delete this number and not to call back.  I then hung out.

third call.  Answered and was told I could continue my education for small fee. Told caller that I was on DO NOY CALL list and I didnt want any more calls and hung up. Called again 2 weeks later!

I received a call on my cell which is on the DNC registry. It was at 12:35 PST and no reply when I answered, so I hung up.

A stupid message on my cell phone . It was at 7.08 pm NY time and no reply when I answered, so I hung up.

Some guys called and laughed as he hung up.

Called 7:30 Am asking if i wanted to continue my education. Asked how he got this number (he called my cell phone) no answer, asked what company he was calling for no answer, told him to take me off his list and he hung up. Foreign oice (indian, maybe middle eastern)

You know about the first of the year I got something like this.  They would call but, hang up when I answer.  Finally around May,  this lady didn't hang up and I blasted her and told her I was on a DNC list and DO NOT CALL again.  She got belligerent with me. It stop until today, this time the guy calls - doesn't identify himself or who he is with he asked.....if I was interested in continuing my education online.  NO, any one in your household?  NO.  I hung up.  Not thinking anything about it until I googled the number and found all your entries.  I am filing a No-Call Act Consumer Complaint with the state of Kansas.  This really pi.... me off!!!!
