Have been getting many calls from this number, no message ever left. Finally got through to them. It is DirectTV.

DirectTV? They suck.

This was an offer from directv. They wanted me to switch back from dish network, which I did. It was worth my while to do so.

hmm.  I am on the DNC registry, and i have never had a relationship of any sort with Direct TV.  Add to this the fact that the caller id says "Phoenix, AZ" and Direct TV is headquartered out of California.  Given these facts, it seems unlikely to be Direct TV calling me from this number.

So, did the previous posters confuse Direct TV with Dish Network?  Well, I do use Dish Network, so that is somewhat plausible, although they are based in Littleton, Co. not Az. so I'm not laying any big money on this possibility.

My best guess is that these pests are some sort of call center, possibly calling for different clients.  Then again, maybe I am wrong, and Direct TV has just ignored my DNC registration.

Overall, my bet would be that this is not Direct TV per se, but that they may make calls for them is a possibility.  I've tried to call the number but can't get through.

Hopefully someone else out there can solve this in a definitive manner!

C'mon Nick.  They all suck, and they all treat their customers like crap.  It's just too bad that their mums didn't let them play with plastic dry cleaning bags when they were little tykes.  Bloody do-gooder warning labels spoiled everything!

DirecTV is not worth the two year contract for DVR service and or HD service.  DirecTV sends me mail advertisement each week and telephone calls every other day.  I shred their mail and ignore their calls.  I will not switch back.  I disliked the signal loss during heavy rains and snows.  DirecTV has better x-rated service (lower cost).  Comcast has its flaws too, but I am not locked into a long term contract.

I recommend NOT, NEVER, IN NO WAY, ever dealing with Direct TV.  They misinform the customer, misrepresent their product and lie about their costs.  I returned my boxes within 2 weeks due to rude, condescending and inept customer service.  Under no circumstances let them know your credit card information.  They will try to sneak charges onto your bill and hope the customer will not catch it.  If you are treated badly by Direct TV or anyone else, you can register a complaint easily on line with the FTC. Talk to others, you will find we are not alone in our dislike of Direct TV.  No wonder they advertise so profusely.  They can't keep their existing customers.

I finally got through to them and it was also Direct tv.  I wish they would go away!

We get numerous calls per day from them. We are on the Do Not Call list, and we never did business with this company before. The closest we've come is to do business with Comcast (for cable TV and internet access). Who knows, they could be sharing their customer lists.

They never leave a voice message even though we let our answering maching do all the answering (thank goodness for that).

Getting sick and tired of the person(s) calling my house and claiming to be a DirecTV rep.  So I decided to do some detective work on the number and called both Verizon Wireless *since the number is a customer of theirs* and DirecTV.  Verizon couldn't help me with the simple question: is the number listed as a individual or as a business.  So I went to DirecTV and let them know about it.  THEY told me that if/when they call, which they do on occasion being that I am a former customer, they wouldn't be calling me from such a number as a CELL PHONE NUMBER.  I was thankful NOT to give any personal info over the phone. SO...SCREW those IDIOTS that don't have the balls to work a REAL job, who instead hide their freaky faces behind a CELL PHONE desperately trying to scam the hard working peeps out of their money.  Here's 2 U! *Holding up middle finger!*

I've gotten this number a couple of times the last two days on my business line. I don't answer any call that says "Unknown Name" so I'm not sure who tried to call. But I'll tell you, I'm on the NDC list, but since it's a business line, it doesn't count. " (

this number calls asking for information and social security number and who is in the home at that particular time...

yes it is DIRECT TV , THEY KEEP CALLING ME ASKING FOR THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THE PHONE NUMBER WHICH  MAKES ME LAUGH.. IT GOT TO THE POINT THAT I SAID SURE HOLD ON .....COME BACK PLEASE HOLD......  STILL LOOKING FOR HER .PLEASE HOLD,,, THEN I COME BACK WITH A BULL HORN AND SEE IF THEY ARE STILL ON THE PHONE AND "BLAST THEM " LMAO ...HAAAAAAAAA JERKS.. WORKS LIKE A CHARM HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THEM SINCE..
