I don't even own a car, yet my warranty is expiring. I don't even know the process...haha. Anyhow, I've gotten at least six calls in the last 2 weeks and its driving me up to the roof. But it feels good to know I'm not the only one.

I got another call today... regarding car warranty.  I got the option to get off thier call list or talk to someone.. I opted to talk.  

The first thing said was "what is the make and model of your car?" I advised "I work for the CPUC and I am on the do not call list... 'thier' autotdialer is dialing random calls and my warranty on my car is expired as it is 6 yrs old and no this number was not associated to that car in any way as my number is 6 months new to me".  (albeit they could be calling for someone else at this number, but I think it is a random call". I stated I am aware that they are hired to just sell so I then asked for a supervisor and they hung up on me. I wonder why.

I noted that other people state who thier carrier is... this could help... I am with aT&T... lets see if there is a pattern.

I have gotten calls from this number today and yesterday.  I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number.  I recently changed my cell phone number to area code 530.  I have Verizon service.  This website is good- now I know not to pick up on this number.

just got a call from this number, it was to advertise a new night club in Orange County, CA!

Call if from a SCAM Car Warranty Company.  THEY DO NOT REPRESENT the whomever manufactured your car.  Total scammers.

I've been called by them as well.....the only help I can provide is a trick I learned from a friend. Since they keep calling me, I saved their number on my cell and assigned a special ringtone for them, a "silent" ringtone, so they won't disturb me when they call at least.

Have been receiving calls from this number (1-623-238-6228) on my cell repeatedly. The first time I answered and got some message about some warranty etc so I promptly hung up. I did make a call back and found it sounded like some sort of scam so quickly hung up and didn't waste my time.

I've been receiving repeated calls from this number but refuse to answer - they don't leave a message. I'm outraged by scams like this that are getting  too frequent.

I found this site after googling the number. I didnt answer since my cell was off. I wonder where these worms get the numbers??? I have verizon

1/27/2008  Today is probably about the 10th call from this number again (623-238-6228) and all the calls have been on my cell phone which has been registered on the "Don't call" registry for quite some time. Also, I've noticed the calls have only started after I've connected to T-Mobile's network in an underground mass-transit station and months after Cingular became AT&T Mobility. Chance or Coincidence?!?

got numerous calls from this number but nobody answers.  even in the middle of the night, it is so annoying.

i'm wondering if the scam is about automated calling
of a huge number of phone numbers...

choosing the option that calls them back
verifies yours as a real working number.

what they do with that info, i don't know but, it can't be good.

I have been called twice now by this number in the last two days. I have a used car with no warrenty on it. I do have AT&T. A message was left the first time on my phone and they hung up the second time. What is going on?

Yes! I concur: there may well be a connection between AT&T and this number 623-238-6228. Just switched service - never got calls from that number before - and I ported my old number from before. hmmm
