    AmEx Fraud Victim
    Got a voicemail from "Mona of American Express" this morning. When I called back, got her voicemail which asked me to leave my account number! Yeah, right!

    I am an AmEx customer and a victim of fraud and identity theft. Called the number on the back of my card and they confirmed it is a real employee. Seems that earlier that morning, the person impersonating me tried to take over my account again and they were calling to confirm whether or not it was me making changes to my account (password, email address, ...).

    So even if you don't have an account with AmEx, it could be someone trying to open one in your name.
