    "This message is for <wrong name>. This is Elijah Doyle, Senior Account Specialist with American Express in reference to a personal business matter that was recently assigned to me. You've not responded to the previous attempt to contact you and time is of the essence. Please give me a call back today at 623-492-7171. Or you can reach us toll-free at 866-280-1853 from 8 AM to 8 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday. Thank you."

    The 866 number had a lot of scam warnings attached to that number while this 623 is new.

    Chatted with American Express online at their official web site and there are no issues with my account. And both numbers listed here do NOT belong to American Express. Hence, it's a scam call to get you to give them your personal information.
