Called Tuesday, 10/2/18 at 4:20 pm PDT. No message left when answering machine came on--I was monitoring the call.  Any time I see a call originating from Alhambra, Baldwin Park, or El Monte, automatically assume it is from telemarketers headquarters these towns are noted for.

Caller said VOIP Caller. No one said anything when I said "hello" several times. Call then was disconnected by them.

More spam.  Blocked.

Hi "RobertaG", Actually the 626 area code (Alhambra, Baldwin Park, or El Monte) is not "telemarketers headquarters ". What's happening is that the scammers "spoof" dead numbers from an area code usually close to yours to try to trick you into answering. Most all the numbers they uses are "disconnected". To "Spoof" a number means they fake the number...it's not actually where they are calling from. They could be calling from outside the country for all we know.

Answer the call and they told me that my loan had been approved from either Live Stream or Life Stream. (language barrier misunderstanding). I told them that I have not applied for a loan lately and it would never be from a place called Live Stream.
