Urgent Documentation need to be delivered but no one answered

Scammer calling from "SG Services".  I wouldn't recommend calling back.

Likely a collection agency, working with very old accounts (at least four years old) which are possibly already closed. They left a recording threatening that if they did not hear back "the information will be issued". I'm not even sure what that means, but it sounds like a boiler-room collection-agency tactic from my side of the call.

I received the same phone call with the same message.  Unfortunately, mine started out from a person saying he was a courier needing to deliver urgent legal documentation, so I called them back.  Now I will probably have an unwanted and unnecessary battle on my hands.

Got the same call yesterday.  After reading the above responses, chose not to call back.  I was told it was urgent legal documentation that required a signature.  If they did not hear from me in 72 hours the "information would be issued".

Same scam, different caller. Don't call them, don't give them information. If they really wanted to give you "documents" they would. They want a quick payoff by using scare tactics. They don't use mail because it leaves culpable evidence and mail fraud is investigated, bogus phone calls get no attention form authorities.

Same call from a Fraud Debt Collector, no information available any where on the validation of this being a real company.  Had a 7 year old address they were threatening to deliver "documents " to. Same message about "information will be issued" or some non-sense. Did have old collections that are way past statue of limitations and have all fallen off credit report. Did call the number back, with a blocked # and the # the call came from and the call back # are both just voice mail services.

They called me,  and my daughter answered the phone.  They said they need me to sign some papers about parking tickets or divorse.  I refused to get on the phone.  First off, I don't have any tickets and I've never been married.  Plus, I just got this number.  My name is common so I think they have the wrong person.  His feelings was hurt when he heard me yelling at my daughter to tell him no thank you, take my number out of your system, if you call me again I will contact my attorney and file harassment charges.  So, he calls my cousin who shared a address with me.  I told her to tell him the same thing.  When he called her back, let's just say her language wasn't as pleasant as before.  California got served  More Style.
