This man sounds like an idiot and just says so you know of the situation - something about serving papers and leaves an 866 # to call and calls repeatedly to work and cell, told him not to call I have no debt and he said I will post this at your employer and home so he's apparently legitimate ha! A$$ hole

I got a call from this JERK. saying same thing.  He wanted to know if I was at home, he was going to serve me papers.  He was going to wait at my house for me. Also, said he was going to go to my work. He told me that I owed money from a payday loan, from 6 years ago.  This was around October of 2014. when I got call.  Now I am getting a call from 224-215-0146 (a Chicago area code, which is where I am, but they say they are in TN).  I talked to girl she was very nice. She was calling for same thing. Her call back # 800-963-1731.  They say they are called Legal One Mediations, in Knoxville Tn.  I find nothing about them with the BBB, nothing when searching the internet.  I came upon this because I put the phone numbers in.  Sounds like others have same experience.

I am having the same problem. Endless phone calls saying they are trying to serve me with court papers because I got a pay day loan and never paid it back. This is the number 224-215-0146 ..Ermm hello, just because I tried to apply for a pay day loan online doesn't mean I got one! Apparently this is the same company that have been harassing me for years but with different numbers. I think it is also the same company that diddled my bank account taking little bits out of a time. It seems somehow when ppl try to get online loans(since we have to give out our bank account details) that is probably how  these vultures get our contact number and bank details. But I was smart enough to notice the few cents missing here and there, googled the name of the company that was leeching from me and found thousands of other people having money go missing from there bank accounts. Very minute amounts but think if this company takes 25 cents here, 25 cents there etc out of thousands of accounts what they would be making from it. I only started to get threatening phone calls the moment I changed my account information at the bank after filing a police report etc. I guess these horrid people contact you to force you into giving out our bank info again so they can start doing the thieving again. Nasty fooking people. I hope they get investigated and caught. They seem to call for a bit then leave you alone for a few months then start up again.  I am sick of the threats about police showing up on my doorstep and being taken to court for something I have no clue about. For one, police won't show up on your door step over a pay day loan. I already spoke to a police man friend about this. Says the same thing. Just keep reporting them or file a police report. Cept they tend to move on, change their phone number and start the harassment again a year later.

1. Real process servers do not call first.
2. It is illegal to claim to be an attorney or law enforcement officer if they are not one.
3. It is also illegal to  make threats - jail/arrest/etc.
