Missed call; returned call and received this message “code 241 successful”

I am alsoreceived a call from this number saying that they were from Microsoft and were receiving foreign IP addressees coming from my computer.  Then they gave me my computer license number and asked me to go look at my computer and then to give them information.  I am a Mac user, but I have a family Microsoft 365 subscription and wondered if this could be related to my father's computer, which is a PC.  Do we know for certain that this is a scam?

People who have to ask if this is a scam are the very reason these scams exist.  OF COURSE IT'S A SCAM.  MICROSOFT DOES NOT CALL PEOPLE.  Good grief.

Message left was from "Microsoft" My computer key had expired. They gave 866-661-0666 as call back. Just how stupid is this............

Called 3-19-18. Recorded massage clearly designed to get me to say “yes” to a question. Claimed to be offering for solar.

Con artist they wanted my IP andrews . They said I has in risk with foreign countries . I asked them which computer or which IP address he said it was all the same IP Address . I said no they are different are you talking about the router he said yes I said I would call spectrum . He told me that they were the mother company for all internet company's. LOL [***]. This is the second call in two months. The first was in February they said they wanted to give me a rebate for a windows I bought for $250 but I had to by a wal bart gift card on line and they would fix my windows and send me $250 rebate. Lol [***] . I decided to have fun with this guy . He gets pissed off if you act stupid.  I recorded both call something like the beefy boys. It is funny.

Called me while I was working and missed it. This number is Not assigned when I tried to call back later. Google directed me to this page. I have blocked the number.

this number is being used by the 'fix your computer' scam from India.  They dialed me 60 seconds later from one of their other phony phone numbers.

My phone is set to block all "anonymous" calls so I never heard it ring.  Thank you!

Received call from unknown number. Left a recording with a women speaking Chinese. Says call from Big Rock, Illinoise.

this number dialed within 2 seconds after the first call was shutdown:

They are Indians pretending to be the computer repair service at Best Buy.

Fraud! Called from busy, noisy, work area. Heavy russian accent. Claimed to be calling from Microsoft. I said "what?', to which he responded " I'm calling about your window's device", since I'm a Mac user, and this scam is OLD, I responded "sorry, I don't know any Weldon Rice, you must have the wrong number and hung up. (I took advantage of his heavy foreign accent.)

CID says Big Rock IL. Left no message. I called (*67) Number no longer in service.

Hang up immediately.   Blocked

oh no, not these fools again.  I did pick up the other day just for the hell of it and when Mr. Eastern  India Guy did his spiel about selling me drugs, when he asked "so are you interested ?" i said " I've been Clean 27 years. No I'm not interested".  lol . he hung up. it was a different number.  I never answer but lately the "Your computer is infected" people have been calling. Could be legit or not.  I cut the guy off and said "What"?  when he repeated I replied  "I don't have a computer".  He said Oh, sorry to have bothered you.  They're all out en mass, be careful folks

I never answer. I was hoping it was ScrubAdub offering the refund I begged them for....a call I will always return.  No msg. of course.  another site reported that there are 197 complaints against this number for calls to cell phones. Mine was to my land line.

Never heard the phone ring, but checked out the number as soon as I saw the "missed call" message. Needless to say, I blocked it.
