probably that ATTY Hecker junk debt collection place. Same area. They have been calling here for months for someone that doesn't even live here..jerks.

Its Stone Recovery Company. Debt collector.

Can't even understand the people when they leave the message.  By reading other posts, it's Stone Leigh Recovery.

I have been receiving calls from 630-396-8080 (Stoneleigh Recovery) on my cell phone.  I never answer calls if I don't recognize the number.  If it is important or someone I want to talk to they usually leave a message.  Stoneleigh never does.

I return the interuptions with my number blocked just to waste their time as they do mine.  You can hide your number by dialing *67 plus the number you are calling to do this.

Since they have to talk to the person tell them they have the wrong number.
Always ask who is calling first. Sometime they will just say there first or last name but not who they are calling from or why.

They' keep calling the house.  I got a first and last name, Darnell Bass.  I don't know who he is, but he was pleading and begging to get a hold of my parents.  At first he asked if the lady of the house was home, told him they were both at the hospital.  He asked who this was, and I just said it was their son, and then he knew me by first name.  Creepy.

He refused to tell me what this was over, though.

This company calls my work and comes through the front desk.  I am not allowed personal calls at work, so I ignore the call besides, they never leave a message anyway.  If they want me bad enough and could find my work number, they can find and call my home number.
These collection agencies harrass the daylights out of me and still persist, on the rare occasions that I might talk to someone, when I tell them I don't owe anyone anything, they just hand-off bills from one collection agency to the other so there is always one of these places calling and they persist in calling my work.
I will be retiring soon, it will be interesting to see what they do then.

They called me a couple of times,i never answered, but got messages from them.. I just called them back from the # that came through on my caller ID and told them that if they call me back again i will hunt them down and cut their [***] balls balls off... will let ya know where it goes from there

They call my cell phone then my home phone in quick succession several times a day.  I will not talk to them!  I tried to make arrangements with the original debt collector (I was out of work for almost a year and boy did they try to screw me during that time), and they sold the debt for pennies on the dollar to these people. They never leave a message, nor have they sent me any kind of documentation via the mail which I believe is a violation of the FDCA.  I have their TN's programmed in and if I see them calling I send it right to voicemail.  I have no time or patience for their harrasment.

630-396-8080 calls my work at least once a month, they come through the front desk.
I have spoken with them on at least two occasions as they are calling for a debt that I filed bankrupcy on over 15 years ago.  I explicitly told them to call my home number and not my work and that I can prove I don't owe any debts whatsoever but they are rude and threatening and insist on calling me at work.  I also have told them to send me a letter by postal mail, this they never do.  I now have the option to not answer my phone at work as I can tell when it is a client or a spam, or debt collection call.  I do not answer.  On occasion they do leave me a message to which I do not listen, I just delete.

These people are rude as anything!  They have practically yelled at me on my voicemail and on the phone as well.  They do not let me get a word in.  They harass me multiple times per day.  I tried communicating that I was working with a debt relief program that would be in touch with them and all they continued to do was threaten me that they wouldn't cooperate.  

Bottom line... I'm working on paying off a debt and do not need their harassing messages each and every day.

I was getting calls for my husband's ex-wife.  I asked how they got my number and they said I was on their list as a family member.  I told them she was never a family member of mine, but I do have her cell phone #, so I gave it to them.  We will have the last laugh on her now!

Recieved a call from someone at the collection agency last month.
guy said he was trying to reach <name withheld>  i never heard of the
person they were trying to reach.  he then said he was from the ssc office and was
trying to make a determination of bennifits   sorry i can't help you and we hung up
today  3/23/11    same call came in again  i told the guy i don;t know the person your trying to reach
and when did anyone from the us gov't call at 6:30 pm???   i then checked my caller id
calle3d back and spoke to a supervisor   and told him what i was told.
he was shocked and surprised  i told him the next call i make is to the att'y general  if i get one more call  he assured me he would remove my number.
geesh these people will contact anyone if they remotly suspect ypu know the person there trying to reach.   sick of it

Recently getting calls and letters from Stoneleigh Recovery / 630-396-8080 about a "business matter" with my husband. I've never answered the calls, but have gotten msgs. This is about a Circuit City account that was paid in full 10 years ago. There were other matters we disputed with CC, but the point is, this debt is long gone and even if we did owe, the limitation for collection is long expired.  For all of you struggling to stop calls - you need to simply ask where you can mail correspondence to and send them a Certified Cease and Desist Letter (with return receipt).  If they call after the letter is received, they will be in direct violation with the Fair Debt Collection laws and then you can decide if you want to pursue legal action against them.  I'm getting ready to fire one off to these guys myself - just the next idiots in line to buy a bad debt from a bankrupt company.  I can play ball too!  Hmmm....who's laughing now???

THIS COMPANY KEEPS CALLING ME HARRASSING ME AND MY DAUGHTER ABOUT A DEBT THAT IS UNDER MY NAME.  THEY KEEP SAYING WILL GO SOMETHING AGAINST ME AND WILL TELL THEIR CLIENT TO PROCEED FURTHER.  THEY DONT DO ANY NEGOTIATIONS AND EVEN DISCUSSED OTHER ACCOUNTS UNDER MY CREDIT REPORT THAT IS NOT ON THEIR SUPERVISION.
