A relative got a call from someone looking for one of that person's relatives.  The caller refused to identify himself.

This number showed up on my caller ID with the name of the caller as "INT POR MNG".  Did not try to call back because did not know who they were or what they wanted.

I recently moved and changed my number, and was evidently given a recycled number that belonged to some guy who seems to owe a lot of people money. I told them all to take my number off of their calling lists since it no longer belongs to this person they are trying to reach. Well, this number, 630-446-7100, will not stop HARASSING me!! It's out of control, to the point that i may take further steps in reporting them if they don't leave me alone. I shouldn't have to change my number, they should just stop calling! It was not a shock to see that others have reported them on this site.

Anyway, it is agreed that they are quite rude. They question me and treat me like I am lieing to them. They constantly ask me where this guy lives now, etc, etc... and i don't know who the hell he is. It is extremely odd and very RUDE that they won't just remove my number. The other day they told me they were a law office and not spam, i told them i don't really care who they are and to leave me the heck alone!!

they keep calling our office looking for one of our employees. we told them not to call back, that they would have to call him at his home. thay have called 4 times in less than three hours and raising thier voice on the phone. they need to stop!! who do you call to report this?!

Saw number i did not recognize and let vm catch it the message said This is Mike Brown from Chicago i need to get a hold of you for your input on an important business matter.......... Ha Ha Ha yeah suck it [***] called back from blocked ID heard name of Intergrated Portfolio Management and googled it found this blog so we shall see what happens next i will update B-Dog 82 in the future

I also just changed my phone to a new unpublished number a few days ago through my phone company (AT&T).  I received a harrassing phone call yesterday from a man on my voice mail that did not state the purpose of the call; but, demanded that I returned his call in a very intimidating tone.  I googled the number (630-446-7100) and it is for a collection agency called "Integrated Portfolio Management".  I think my phone company gave me a phone number that must have belonged to a person with credit problems.  If the calls persist, I will report the calls on the Federal Trade Commission website.  I certainly don't plan to return their calls; but, I will report them for phone harassment if these calls continue.

Very, very nasty and rude unprofessional individual Mr. Marty Michaels asking for an employee we request that they fax over and started yelling. IPM is the company name he gave 630-446-7100 and starting babbling about some rights he probably knew nothing about. Very very bad company in all aspects.

Marty Michaels rude and nasty, nasty to get a call like that in the office and I was just doing my job. Really upset me and he didn't help at all. At least I have professionalism he definitely came off a corner and doesn't know how to handle phone manners.

As I am going down the list of phone numbers that are on my cell, it is amazing to me that I am not the only consumer out there who gets calls from these intentionally mean people.  I do not understand why collection agencies feel they have to practically threaten you within an inch of your life to get you to comply with their wishes.  What is even more scary is the fact that what we believe are "reputable" companies, are hiring these god-forsaken collection agencies to do their dirty work.  I can understand now why the American way of doing business doesn't work and you can be any Tom, Dick, or Harry (sorry if the names offend anyone) and all you have to be able to do is wear a headset and talk mean all day to people.  How do these people live with themselves?  And you cannot tell me they do not have a conscience - that's an opinion, not the truth.  
There are situations that arise and some people cannot pay their bills through no real fault of their own but to be treated in an unprofessional manner is not an incentive to want to pay credit card debt or whatever the situation happens to be.

Received calls from this number on 5/5, and twice on 5/14. A very dominant male saying I MUST call him back NOW. Yeah, right.

I googled and found them...then I received calls from 630-983-2213...the same company. They called 4/25, 5/2 and 5/9. The last time they called, they actually called my spouse's office and left a message!

I'm reporting them as I'm on DNC list.

I'm also thinking about filing a police report...

i agree with you. why do they have to talk so nasty to people??
it's not just collection agencies, some finance companies, one in particular comes to mind, Green Tree Services, have some real "gems" working for them , too.. don't get me wrong, they do have some nice, understanding people that work for their company.
what i like is when they ask you,"Can't you borrow the money from someone?" i ask them,"can I borrow it from you." that get's them everytime.

Received a call at work from this number. Which its against the law for a Collection Agency to call you at work in the first place. Im so glad I google this phone number to see who it was. Because of course they said it was important and to call back right away.

They keep calling my cellphone looking for someone.  I keep telling them I have no idea who he is, nor how they got my number.  I had that number for five years!  It started a few months ago.  They don't believe me when I tell them that I am not who they think I am and want all MY info.  They call me at work, at home, and run  up my cellphone bill.

Is there a way to start a petition-like complaint and forward it to the FTC?  Maybe if enough voices complain about them, then FTC will actually do something.

Some one by the name Freddy Martinez keep calling my number leaving a message stating it is very important for you to return my call. I have not idea who it is nor do I know where he got my # from.

Yes, they won't state anything personal on their message, just that they have to "render a decision" regarding you.  They are harassers, just ignore!  Trying to intimidate.  Ridiculous!
