Why do they keep trying? This was on 1/30/14 @ 6:20 PM CT. This time it's Downers Grov IL. Same Landline. Same BS.

5 times in last 2 days and its only 11:00 a.m. so, who knows? i may get more. They never leave a message. if i call back its disconnected. When i answer i either get complete silence to which i yell out to put me on do not call list, music then a hang up, or a man named "Adam" trying to squeeze me for money for Downers grove to which i say i dont live there and i ask AGAIN to be put on the do not call list and i get ignored, again... if it keeps up just going to report the number for harrassment. you should do the same if it continues

12/9/14 -  they called at 8:35 pm.  Only answered because everyone was asleep and didn't want phone to wake them.  No one there.  Glad I read this so I know to report them to local police.

I got a Panasonic phone syst w ability to block 250 numbers. After reading the manual, I discovered that I can put it in sleep mode from 9am to 9 pm, and have silent 1st ring, and allow a group of callers bypass this feature. The caller can leave a message, and I can call back if I want, and then add that number to the bypass list if I so desire. Telemarketers won't leave a MSG, so I never hear the phone ring from them, and it appears on the caller I'd as a missed call. Problem solved.  : )

Wow, space for 250 blocked numbers?  My Panasonic only gives me 30 spaces, despite the fact that I have a 3,000 space phone book!  I love their phones for all the features they give you. Looks like it's time for me to go shopping again.  I keep hitting my 30-call blocked limit! :(  Thanks for posting the info.
