Yes the rudely hang up then call from a different number. I contacted class action settlement lawsuit to file one on them for robocalling

A man with an American accent called my cell number at 12:43 PM identifying himself as calling from my "local chimney company".  Not identifying the name of his company is red flag #1.  He claimed that I had used their chimney cleaning service 4 years ago. Neither I nor my wife recall any such service from 4 years ago.  That's red flag #2.  He asked if I needed it again.  While I couldn't recall his 4-year-old service and without saying "no" to him, I responded that we just had it done last year.  Rather than asking if we wanted the service again or saying: "thank you" or "good bye", he immediately disconnected without another word.  That's red flag #3.  I'm on the "do not call" list.  Red flag #4.  I called the number back only to hear a recorded message that the "number is not in service".  Legitimate companies want you to call them back.  Red flag #5. I checked here to see this number has been used for other scams.  Red flag #6.  I have now blocked this number.
