Answering machine message "Your household has been selected for a free cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines.....  Press 1 etc etc"

Just received a call from this number.  Caller ID read "Rocky Point NY."  Though it went to answering machine, the only message was the dial tone.  Last week I had turned in two numbers to the FTC that had left messages stating that the IRS was bring lawsuit against and I was to call immediately to obtain more info about the case. For a few days I received no annoyance calls at all.  Guess the vacation is over! Darn.

Saw the number, didn't recognize it so I let it go to voicemail. No message guessing it's either a free trip or a phone call to the IRS. Now on the blocked list

Thanks to prior reports here, I know I did not miss anything important by ignoring this call. No message left. Blocked.

With all the spamming and scamming going on, I do not answer numbers I do not recognize.  Thanks to the previous postings, I'm glad I didn't.

My Mom received this multiple times, I did call back and harassed them over and over again. The IRS will never call someone, it will be a certified Letter in the Mail. And I told them this every time I called and I told them stop trying to scare the elderly

The location said Shoreham, NY and I don't know anyone from there so I didn't pick up. I've been getting calls about student loans lately - which I don't have so I don't pick up numbers that aren't already in my contacts. Just another number to block.

I was call didn't answer. They left no message. I guess the IRS wants to get me? If I was a Clinton that wouldn't happen. Guess the government is there to protect the ones they choose to protect. Sucks to be the little guy.
