no caller ID no message left. other sites say it is a security system scam.  I have blocked caller.

Leaves voice mail and tries to get you to hit "9" to be placed on a do not call list....don't do it.

Called, no message, have no idea who it is.  Blocked the caller, if it's not important enough to leave a message it's not important enough to answer.

A recorded message about security systems says "This is not a sales call, you have been refered to us by a friend".
It asks you to press a number for more info or a different number to be removed from their list.

I'm thinking: "All my friends know about the security where I live, so who's mascarading as my friend and thinks that I need another security system?"
Furthermore: If this was legit, why wouldn't somebody be more assertive, without hiding behind a machine, and by being honest about the sales call and who the referral came from?
ALMOST EVERYONE KNOWS NOT TO PLAY THE BUTTON GAME WITH A PERSON VALIDATION MACHINE LIKE THIS.

Left no message on 4-18-2016, indicating that it is from "Rocky Point, NY".
