Chem Labs - called line of bull:  he was getting back to speak with the person who requesting pricing information for fuel additive for our "fleet" needs. I let him rattle on about someone in my maint. contacted him. I don't have a maint department - we sub everything out to vendor and every purchase starts with me!

Carl from Industrial Chem called asking to speak to the person in charge of ordering, and insisting that we had sent them a "correspondence" with request for product. When I indicated that I had no evidence of any emails from them, he got snippy saying that their "correspondence" is via catalogues, etc. not email. The conversation degenerated from there. The irony is that I know we didn't send them anything, and he thought he was talking to an employee and was going to complain about me to the owner. Well, I AM the owner and I would never give Industrial Chem my business after today's experience. Pushy, rude and unprofessional.

pushy male telemarketer named ROY HOBBS phoned from 631-243-0189, follow up call next day from 631-392-4394 (probably same male) gave me a call back number of 800-827-0869. Insisted I accept 50 lb. pail of ice melt ('cuz it's gonna be a bad winter according to ROY HOBBS) and will bill me next month! Lucky I checked them out and still have time to refuse the delivery

Saw the caller ID and googled it - remembering the called a long time ago trying to push cleaning chemicals on me. That  person rude and pushy. Have read many more complaints that they send stuff and do NOT accept returns or give refunds. Very bad reputation where they are if  you google their company.

I received  call from "Joe Stevens" trying to sell me stuff on all purpose cleaner, drain cleaner. etc.
Very pushy. I actually took notes while speaking with him. I told him we could only use him if on compliance depot. He gave me a number. I looked it up and didn't find it. While I had him on the phone. I called him out and he just moved onto the next subject asking for my shipping address. I told him "Joe your going to make me hang up on you" and he instead got off the phone with me. :)   SOOOOO DDUUUUUMMMBBB!!!! Don't answer. I hope he calls back. :)

Received two calls from this number today; each time the same, a male, demanding to speak with my maintenance manager. I asked if it was a sales call and he told me it was not, and then I offered to take a message. Refused to leave a message the first time and said he would call back later.
The second call about an hour later, demanded to speak with my maintenance manager and when I said he was not available and I could take a message, then demanded to speak with the property manager. I said she was not available and would be happy to take a message, he then said something rude about 'Yeah, I'll never get a call back.'

Scott called today.  Made it sound as if we knew him.  When I wasn't available and my assistant asked who was called he said Scott and hung up on her.

This guy called to speak w/my boss said he was an old friend yet didn't even pronounce his name correctly! Said he went to school w/him....I said really what school was that ...uh you know way down there in the boonies! I said WOW where is the boonies?? Just fishing him along because I knew he was a nothing!!! He said what do I have to do to get threw you...I said give me your correct name, #, & your business w/my boss....He said gee you're really a watchdog.....I said yes I am & my boss nor me doesn't have time for this & I hung up!

How do you refuse? He told my maintenance guy that I ordered some and the maintenance guy thought I did!

Received a call at work - did not announce himself. Asked for the manager - was this a bad time. I said how can I help you. I finally said are you trying to sell me something. He said nope - have a good day and hung up.

Received a call from Chem Labs asking for the property manager, stating he had a price list for drain cleaners, etc. that we had requested. I said we hadn't requested anything and he said there had been a fair held two weeks ago showing all the products they have and again I said we did not go to any fair or request pricing. I tried telling him that we  have a specific company that we order our products from but he kept talking over the top of me. He then  demanded to know what my title was.  After I told him my titles he very rudely wanted the number to my Regional Manager, stating that maybe "I'm not aware of what I'm doing." I laughed and asked for his name and number and he hung up.

ChamLabs give it a break!  This guy asked to speak with maintenance (they've called before) I said please remove us from your calling list (I have requested this before), he asked for my name and if I was the manager which I am.  SUCH A JERK! Kept saying that he'd have to relay this back to corporate!

Rude- VERY RUDE. Stated I, the person he was calling was being offesive. I tried to explain that he would need someone else as he talked over me. I think this is a scam- at best, it's a company I WOULD NEVER do business with especially if they employ rude salesman like this guy.

Got a call from this number, asked for maintenance and then for property manager.  When I wouldn't identify my position, the aggressive male turned in to a bully.  When I tried to ask where this company was located, said it was in Colorado but moved all over.  Said the company name was "The Labs".  On caller ID said Chem Labs

Some guy who said his name is "Steve" called and asked for the manager. I told him I could take his number down and he became very rude and obnoxious. He said nobody can call him back because he was in a warehouse. He asked if I would like for him to call corporate, so I said "Yes." Lol

This person was very rude.  Had the nerve to tell me there was no way we were closed and only two people were in City hall

Same as always, Chem Labs calls our business once every few weeks and has done so for many years, and not just at this business but at others where I've worked in the past. This time, when I explained that I would not be providing the caller with the name of my Maintenance Director because we do not purchase supplies outside of our purchasing group, he demanded to speak with the Administrator, which I told him that was me. At that point, he insisted that I provide him with the name and phone number of the corporate director so that he could file a complaint against me. Oh no, I'm so terribly afraid now that he threatened me, NOT.

CHEM LABS scammers have always been and will always be the utmost pathetic losers.

Called the Assisted Living Facility, was very clearly a solicitor, when told we don't take solicitation calls at our location corporate office he became rude and abusive yelling about how his goals were beyond my understand and demanding to speak to the Director of Housekeeping (who he could not name).  I put the Director of Housekeeping on and he immediately launched into a sales pitch, the Director described him as an "absolute [***]" and hung up.  Most likely one of those scam companies that bully you for the name of someone at your location so they can send unwanted products to that they can then back bill.

A Male called asked for a Manager or Maintenance supervisor, I asked how my i help you twice he got VERY RUDE and stated I refuse to identify myself.  Then threatened to call the main office to report me.  When I asked him for his name he hung up.  SO RUDE !!
