same as above, listed as Yaphank NY.  Don't know who they are or what they want.  This is first call from them.

Another day, another pest calling.  Over and over and over and they never say anything.

The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has just ruled that the telephone companies can and should provide free blockers within their systems to block these scammers and con artists.

There is an effort being made by Consumers Union (they publish Consumer Reports). The effort is a petition to the phone companies—responsible for these phone calls—to offer free scam blockers.

The telephone companies are dragging their feet. They do not screen scammers and are making money off their harassing telephone Robocalls to consumers.

Signing the petition is sure to help. Consumers Union has clout because of the numbers.

Also, contact your Congressman. Congress should address this issue since it is a federal problem. My California Congressman Garamendi did not respond until after 13 E-mails, but I hope you have a better Congressperson than me.

This number called me today 1/28/16 at 11:55 am.  I didn't answer because the caller ID said it was a call from NY and I'm from NC.  However, a lot of times if you call back a spammer number you can add your number to the do not call list. I tried to do this....I got an error message from my cell phone provider saying that my call could not be completed as dialed. Lovely.
