This dishonest "chimney company" has switched numders to this one. They previously used 631-676-4171. I didn't answer the call because it looked like it was bogus.

This is NOT a dishonest chimney company.  And, this company did not switch numbers.  The main number is still 631 676-4171.  Perhaps you should check out a company before calling them "dishonest."  FYI...Top Notch Construction has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  People should perform due dilligence before throwing around slanderous adjectives....

Perhaps you should check with the federal do not call list before calling people if you are so honest.

Kind of a weird call- said they would " be in the area"- call comes in as Melissa Demartin- weird if they were a honest business
I am on the Do Not Call list- so they are ingnoring it

The do not call list registry is a complete joke.When you register they tell you it will go in effect within 30 days.BALONEY.The do not call registry are as big a farce as the phone calls we get.

They may not be dishonest, but they are the rudest people I have ever spoken with.  I just tried politely to tell this person I wasn't interested, and she told me "Fine, and when you lose your power this winter and try to use your fireplace I hope your house burns down"  NEVER use these people!!!!!

This is a telemarketing call, they are ignoring the do not call list.  The call appears as "Melissa DelMarti" on your caller ID. The name of the company is "Top Notch Chimney".  Melissa Delmarti appears to be drunk, she is rude if you ask her any questions, she swears and just wants to argue as she slurs her words, she makes absolutely no sense....can you imagine hiring a company like this?  I have reported this company to the "Do Not Call" phone number 888-382-1222 and suggest you do the same, as they will be fined for each call. I am also contacting my local Police as she emphatically stated they were going to be in my area. Just another chimney scammer wanting your money and they sound desperate.  Do not walk from this company....RUN!!!
 

If they are a legitimate company serving Long Island NY and NJ, why are they calling CT numbers? If we are all registered on the Do Not Call list, WHY are we getting more rather than less intrusive unwanted calls. There has to be a better way to stop telemarketers from abusing our private phone numbers.

They service Connecticut also.  They are a groupon coupon.  On the groupon site.  I didn't have any problems with them.
