These people called me every morning all week. The first day they were a little enticing as they had what sounded like a great deal from Bell. A free blackberry. When I enquired further I caught on pretty quick. Apparently they were going to mail me a blackberry. All I needed to do was provide them with my SIN #. Not feeling comfortable I ended the conversation. I recieved calls all week and finally when I told them to take me off their call list they tried once more to reel me in by saying since I didn't feel comfortable giving my SIN I could give them my credit card number... Seriously? Luckily I didn't feel comfortable after they kept saying things non-verbatem such as; "trust me", and "don't worry". Stop them!

I recieved a call from this number saying that they were Bell Canada.  They offered me a free Blackberry in exchange for my Date of birth and social insurance number.  This made me very wary.  I told them that I would think about it and call back.  The guy on the other end kept insisting that it was a good deal.  I tried to tell him I wasnt interested.  Finally, I just hung up on him.

got a call from this phone number - did not provide a name on the caller ID so I did not answer it. I am happy to have this website to look up the number and get this information.  I am posting merely to let people know the scam is still on.  I am in Toronto.

Got a phone call from these guys offering me free long distance on my Bell phone.  I caught them instantly when they offered me free text messages... They called my land line.  They hung up on me when my answer to their question about why I wasn't interested was because I knew they weren't from bell.  Shifty little buggers!!!

Area code 632 is from MANILA, Philippines.

People, PLEASE do not ever give out your SIN number and birthdate to anyone
on the phone. Very few transactions require such private information. But only a
few government-related activites actually need this information, and you should
only provide it if you are initiating a transaction and NEVER if you are asked for
personal information in response to a cold call!

Who can ask for my SIN and when don't I have to provide my SIN?

Some private-sector organizations may ask for your SIN. This practice is strongly discouraged,
but it is not illegal.

Here are examples of when you don’t have to give your Social Insurance Number or show your card:

- proving your identity (except for specific government programs)
- completing a job application before you get the job
- completing an application to rent a property
- negotiating a lease with a landlord
- completing credit card application
- cashing a cheque
- applying for a video club membership
- completing some banking transactions (mortgage, line of credit, loan)
- completing a medical questionnaire
- renting a car
- subscribing to long-distance or cellular telephone services
- writing a will
- applying to a university or college.

Just got a call from these goofs. The call center was way too nosiy to be from Bell, and the guy's script too loose.  Also referred to the company as Bell, and not Bell Canada.

But the bigger give aways was when he started to annoy me so I told him to take me off his calling list. He asked why, so I told cause I f-ing hate Bell.  He then started to swear back at me in all of his broken English swear words and told me that he slept with my wife (I am single).

He then tried to salvage the call by returning to the script.  I asked him where we was based out of, and he said Toronto, Ontario.  (No one in Toronto, would ever refer to it as that,) I asked him where, what street, and he replied on the 7th floor of City Park Place. I then asked what street that was on and he said Hospital St.

What a tool.

Yeah I just got a call from this number. I removed myself from Bell Canada's calling list recently and when I said that he got all "Ma'am ma'am why you no understand me?" You could tell that it isn't really Bell. Hung up.

4:47pm April 1, 2010 didn't answer  and they didn't leave a message. Looked up area code.....not one exsists for that number

I got a call from this number this morning but my voicemail took it. I guess the caller thought he'd hung up but my machine recorded. About 5 seconds in you can her him saying "hi honey" 2 or 3 times to what sounds like a little girl. Clearly not a call from a Bell phone centre or anyone that I may wish to do business with.

hello everyone i have seen all your reviews on this number i have the same problem i call my phone company and they say they can not do anything i would have to call the police so i did the police have the number on file and they are investagating this number they are aware it is from the philippins ,,,, and the caller from the number 1-632-382-5633 was saying i am one of five winners and i have choice of lg rumor cellphone and a black berry and 3 other ones  but it was hard to hear him cause he cant speak [***] english ,,,, and he asked me if i wanted to put the the phone that i won under my name of myy husband ,hahahah ,,,, then he asked for my dob and my husbands and asked for sin number and credit card number well the phone provider i have never asks for that info ,,,so BEWARE of these [***] tools ,,,and i was thinking he might be using a computer phone like skype or something cause he kept cutting out then i could hear little girl in back round and people being very loud ,,,,,  thanx and BEAWARE.................................

Just got a call from these guys. When he introduced himself from Bell, I said, very politely,  "I thought I told you guys to take me off your list" He said "f**k off" and hung up.  I did not even have a chance to say 'Pardon me'.  Very noisy call center.  I could hear a lot of other telemarketers.
