Called 6 times in 1 minute. My software hung up on them every time.

Same thing here. Caller ID said Support Fire. Heard call center noises but didn't answer, and the caller said nothing.

Same here. The caller may be a charity collecting for firemen or something.  I've been getting a lot of solicitations in the mail recently from an outfit asking for donations to support volunteer firefighters.  Might be the same people.

Scam!  Don’t believe for one second that firemen and/or their organizations call for donations.  Because they don’t.  I wouldn’t trust your snail mail either (but it might be from the SAME scams).  Firefighters (and police) don’t ask for money by cold calling or over the phone, period.  If it was a legit call, it would have a legit Caller ID (spoofers can make a Caller ID say anything they want).  It doesn’t.  “Fire Support” or whatever it says is extremely vague!  Furthermore, if it were legit, they wouldn’t hang up on your answering machine.  They do.  I’ve already blocked the number.  The faster they call, the faster I can block.  The more they call, the more I block.  A nice feeling.

Caller ID says "SUPPORT FIRE".  No message was lest.
This is not the first supposed fire charity to call here recently either.

Caller ID said SUPPORT FIRE so I let the machine get it. Big surprise, they didn't leave a message. Can you say SCAM boys & girls? Between multiple calls daily since early December (except Christmas day)  from TX  C.O. POL, RESPONDERS, FIRE SUPPORT,  2 new numbers for the septic sucking scammers & the "lets spoof the local prefix" scam sect & now SUPPORT FIRE, I'm wishing I had their coordinates & could call the cannon cockers at Army or Marine fire support (artillery) on them all! It's been 4 or 5 times the usual scam callers lately! End of year Scammers contest? Thanks 800notes for a place we can confirm our suspicions.

Caller ID: Support Fire, no message. Got a call last week from "FireAssociation" at 762-499-8347 in Athens Ga. I live in St. Louis, Mo.
