I just hung up  "unknown name"

just called was on the other line so i did not answer, no msg left.

Caller ID read "Out of Area"
Called our "Old Folks" line, so I know it is probably some sort of scam against the elderly for insurance, medical supplies, free trip, storm windows, alarm system, or something of the like.
I recommend if you do answer, take everything they say with a grain of salt. Research before you agree to anything.

Received a call on 02/22/2016 at 04:53 PM.  Did not leave voice mail.  Caller ID shows, "New York NY."

Called and didn't leave a message.  We get alot of these.

Caller ID said New York ..... didah didah didah ...... Prob More Scammers!

This number called my elderly parents' land line twice in two days.  My mother (84 y/o) answered yesterday and they told her something about services for seniors.  She said she wasn't interested and hung up.  I answered it today; unlike my parents I apparently don't sound like a senior citizen (I'm 50-something). The caller hung up.  I blocked the number using *60.

Received a call from this number which I did not recognize or answer......no message!! Caller ID shows New York, New York

I asked who was calling. They asked for a person who doesn't and has never lived here. I told them they had a wrong number. He said, "Liar." And hung up.
