Back brace scam....

Got a call this a.m. @ 11:00 EST.  Was not home and answering machine was not on.  They never leave messages anyway.  I have stopped answering any unknown names and then contact the Attorney General.  I am sick of these scams.

I leave my fax machine hooked up to my home phone.  Ive never given out my home phone number since i use cell phone.   its amazing how much it rings and never a fax comes through.   Hope they enjoy listening to the screech of a fax.

This number said that it is from the irs and we owe money.  please contract them and stop their calling.

Perhaps you misunderstood the purpose of this website. No one here can "contract them and stop their calling." This website is simply to help people identify unknown callers. You might look into buying a call blocker or at the very least don't answer calls from phone numbers you don't know.

I don't recognize the number so I don't answer it. They don't leave a message. Calls are almost daily.

No message. I'm on Do Not Call Registry and still receive scam calls. The # is 1  646-257-3519. Please block this caller.

Got a call from this number at 10:00AM claiming that I had requested this callback.  Were offering back pain relief for Medicare patients.  No one here is requested the callback and no one here is eligible for Medicare.  When I asked how my number had requested the callback they hung up.

medicare scam you answer the question and many need the brace due to back or knee problems give them your number and dr name. they call the dr office and different grifters work the dr office they are pro con men if someone from the office gives consent . Medicare gets billed for hundreds possibly thousands and the person who answered the phone gets something you can buy in drug store for 5 to 30 bucks and the gov is out plenty.  it takes Medicare if you do not have advantage or hmo supplemental years to figure out the fraud meanwhile the illegal caller closes shop moves on and bankrupts the corp
2 yrs ago it was pain cream about 2 bucks menthal and few bogus ingredients and medicare got billed and paid several hundred a tube sent monthly. they even scammed the co who made the product on the criminals spec
key to the scam is they ask for medacare only if you have commercial ins they catch the scams right away and your dr will send you to more reputable people or otc if you need something. not 100% perfect but the phone call is 100% crucked
