I keep getting calls from this 646 area code. They call and leave no message. Evert time I block their number they come up with a new one. This was their latest number.

left no message. Caller ID said Private Caller but phone number was displayed so I didn't answer.

Called at 11:33 am Pacific time on Sept 29th, 2015.  Left no message.  The Caller ID said 'Private' and displayed the phone number.

Just rec'd call..no message left.  Caller ID:  Private Name.  Will Block #.  Wonderful having a phone that will block 250 #s.

Constant calls from this "company" to speak to the person who handles merchant accounts. I tell them I am the only one in the office and they ask for a time to call back. I have told them multiple times that my supervisor is not interested. We are a small business and we literally take care of it all pretty much on our own.

They call me everyday on my CELL PHONE even though I am registered on the "DO NOT CALL" list. I keep telling them the person they are looking for is not connected to this number and THEY KEEP CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same complaint as other with 646 area code calling daily.  I just don't answer and keep blocking.  It's is unreal that someone can't stop these mindless calls.  Don't people have something else better and more productive to do than endlessly call people?

Same complaint as with everyone else.  Phone rings two or three times then stops. This will be the fourth number I have blocked from this person or company.

filthy christ. i answered the call cause the number came up 646-502-5156 with the word private # in the field. the caller did not speak but i heard noise in the background. i stated "you are calling from 646-502-5156" and they promptly hung up

There are few things in life as satisfying as seeing a number like this ring in exactly once and then watch them be automatically disconnected by the system because it's on the blocked list where I put it at some point in the past.

Phone number came up on caller ID as a private call.  Female caller asked to speak to the person who handles our credit card services.  Our company uses a local bank to process our credit cards.

Do Not Call list is a waste of time. Better just to get a blocker on your phone.

The guy asked immediately if he could speak to the manager, I asked what the call was in regards to (since I'm the manager and co owner) and he said I need to speak to a manager. I said what is the call in regards to and he said it was a call about an interaction with an employee (funny because there's no other employees) and I asked if he had the employees name, he said I need a manager. I said the reason I'm asking these questions is because I am the manager. He hung up promptly. His name was (By-fall-a-new) -_____-.......

Thought we would fall for that by displaying caller ID as "Private caller"?  No, we are not the one who will answer any unknown numbers without checking online.  If important calls, they usually should/will leave message or call back.  They called everyday and didn't leave message.  So, it's worth checking online first before answering.  Thanks to everyone for posting this kind of annoying numbers.  It does help.

filthy mother of christ. i just got a call from this # and it is not the first time. the id read "private #" and i knew it would be trouble. the pest on the other end kept insisting to speak to the person in charge of the credit card processing. i demanded his name and he said it was Benjamin Trudo and stated he represented a company called Secure Review and that he was not a telemarketer but rather this was a "service call". i told him i did not want his services nor ask for them and i instructed him to take me off his list. that had no effect he continued with his high pressure sales pitch saying he was sending me materials [that i did not ask for] and that he would follow up with yet another call. i told him to listen up, to take me off his list and i hung the christ up on him.

I have been receiving calls from the 646 area code including 646 396 0948 and 646-401-0937 every day of the week between 9:30 and 10:30 am for over a month now. It rings twice then stops. I checked the number online the first time the phone number appeared and found they not only keep using different numbers, after several reviewers requested their number be removed from their list it was not. This is harassment. How can they be stopped?

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
