calling about  back brace info i requested. (never requested.) they are criminals and scammers. reported them again

called and left no message so I blocked the number. Answering machine states we screen all calls, leave a message and IF we know you we will call you back. No message left so they are blocked.

Called about Medicare supplement scam.  Had my name and address.  Told him I'm reporting him to insurance fraud and he hung up

National Health Service calling about my medicare number.Said I didn't have one and  Blocked #.

"This is National Health, do you have Medicare? yes? Great, do you have any back pain?        Lots of noise in the background, DO NOT give these scammers any information, DO NOT answer their questions. Hang up.

Soon as live person verified just hold the phone up to a smoke alarm and push the button.
With a headset they won't hear well for a while.  Great fun

   If you dont recognize the name/number, DO NOT ANSWER. If you happen to answer, DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY; NOT BY VOICE, SELECTED NUMBER OR CALL BACK! After all, they are scammers and you dont really know what you answered or consented to do, give or buy, for which your number may be billed.
    Scamming and phishing only works if there is a market (target, sucker). They are bottom feeders that have no limits, conscience,  mothers, or legislation  (DNC) except you.
   Legitimate caller will be identified, will leave a name, message, and call back number, giving you the option to respond.
   I wish all the TV stations would run programs at prime times on scams and cautions; how to report and deal with them. That would be public service in public interest, and hopefully, make these scammers into real losers.

Providers may not be able to stop, filter or block these crooks, but they could (should) at least issue upfront, visible  warnings, methods and how to recognize phishing and scams. Follow this with instructions on dealing with and reporting to authorities.  Maybe then, something will be accomplished...at least try.
