- Freud| 1 replyNumerous calls from this number - never leaves a message.
- Jon| 5 repliesMany of you need to stop thinking every little thing is a scam. This happens to a number used by Trade Publications, Inc., and is a legitimate number used to call to renew subscriptions. Most of the time someone who had your number previously, or who incorrectly typed in your number by accident when subscribing online, is merely getting a renewal call. They always need to verify company info, as that was the basis for the free subscription in the first place. If that person they ask for is no longer there or gave your number in error, simply tell them that and they will remove it. There's no grand scam involved. And just because most of the Publications use call centers based in Asia does NOT make it a scammer call. But if you're so afraid of anyone calling you with a foreign accent, do us all a favor and go out and shoot yourself now. Your paranoia is your own, and doesn't need to be shared on the basis of your mere speculations based on someone's foreign accent. Get a life morons, and get a little education while you're at it.

- John replies to JonI would not say "legitimate", I have told them several times to cancel the magazines, we do not want them, but they keep sending and keep calling. They make their money off the advertisers and this way they can dupe them into thinking they are distributing more then they are. Sounds more sleazy than legitimate. Anyone that uses auto dialers ought to be shut down anyways. The magazines hit the trash here.

- JF replies to JonIf I want to renew a Subscription, I will call them.
- B. replies to JonNot a moron, got a college education. Even know how to tie my own shoes. If I wish to renew, will call your company. As it is, we did not solicit either a magazine from you all at our business nor am afraid to talk to someone with a foreign accent. We didn't need your call nor your sarcasm. People are simply worn out with unwanted calls. Don't care if someone got it before. They aren't now. There are privacy laws to haggle with as well. Update *your* education, sir.

- RobertCalled on my business line, which I’ve never used to subscribe to any magazines or anything else. In a nutshell, either a scam or unwanted solicitation, neither of which is appreciated when I am trying to work.
- Admin MCalled twice this week and asked for the same person that I have said has been retired five plus years from the company. The replacement has not been available both times they called. First time they took voicemail, second time they hung up on me. They don't state where they are calling from, just who they want to speak with. Unfortunately for them, they won't get past speaking with me...

- muddy replies to FreudI'm sorry, but when caller ID shows up as "not in service", and you answer but no one is there - or you don't answer and they refuse to leave a message, IT IS A SCAM.
- DorisCaller ID shows not in service. If you don't pick up they leave a loud dial tone on phone answering machine each time they call.
- tiredofthisMultiple calls this week. Caller ID says "Not In Service". So, yeah, not answering......ever.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Peep1000 replies to JonI have no subscriptions - magazine or otherwise. I have had this phone number for 10 years and I'm on the Do Not Call list. There is no reason ANYONE should be calling me to solicit ANYTHING!!!
- Rick replies to JonNo, these are BS calls. we get them all the time at work. They are trying to "verify" information for future spamming. If we get them on the phone they are told that they reached us so the information hasn't changed and then hang up.
