Answered phone, no one spoke. A lot of talking in back ground

Got this call - caller ID says it is from a Mridul...whatever that is! I did Google it and it is an East Indian name.

Have been receiving calls from this number I answered once there wasn't anyone the other line.  Do not want to receive any more calls from whom ever this is!!!!!!!!!!

Missed call no voicemail. I get calls all the time from these out of town places. Leave me alone weirdos

I called back this number, and the message says that it's not in service.

I got a call the other day from an unavailable number and then from this one today--it sounded like an East Indian voice both times. Each time they said they were from "an energy company." The first time, the woman wanted to talk to me about a "$100 refund" on my electricity bill. I told her it was included in my rent, so I didn't have a bill. She hung up right away. The call today, I told the woman I wasn't in and she said she'd call back in about 15 minutes. (I won't be available....::shock::) Anyway--I called back and got a continuous recording "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line for the next available agent." I did some paperwork and stayed on the line for 10 minutes. Nobody ever answered. We'll see if they call back later.

Update: It's been about an hour now...and no call back. SURPRISE!!! If they were legit, even a legit debt collector, they would have called back by now.

A LOT of phone calls from 646-479.... numbers! Most of the time there is no live person there, sometimes "Energy" company or "Mortgage Refi"... Does not matter how do they call themselves, they are scum.
